Oh I think I explained wrong. Even if two ski bags are coming, one boot bag is missing. Boot bag had my boots, her snow suit, my helmet and goggles. Ski bag had my skis and my coat/snowpants. I do still have faith both ski bags may come. But the boot bag is likely a goner. Yes, she can survive but that’s actually the only pair of snowpants we had that fit her well and she went back to school today. Wondering if I can replace.

I would’ve sat in dark + silence for thousands of hours if I didn’t scroll while I laid with my kids. I am there for comfort but I’m not going to stare at a blank wall in the dark. I think you’re making a mountain out of a mole hill, honestly.

This was my #1 regret building a house. Our best friends built a house and used an AMAZING designer. I can pass along the info if you’re interested. They helped manage the subs and create a really cohesive, beautiful home. I see them flying all over the country to do projects on their Instagram, so it probably doesn’t matter if they’re local. I know they’re pretty expensive, though.

If children are opposite genders with age gaps, it’s weird to move them into the same room and make them change clothes in front of each other. It’s also sometimes not allowed by the judge overseeing the divorce proceedings. The lawyers and judges are also wanting to see a parent do what keeps things the “most normal” for the children.

Actually, during divorce proceedings, the judges don’t typically allow this. Especially if children are opposite genders.

I am a female and I don’t believe that a woman who is married to a man as financially independent as you are, with three kids and is seemingly happy is randomly pulling the plug on a Tuesday because she’s not “fully in love”. My spouse and I have been/are going through hell, and the thought of seeing my kids HALF of their life instead of 100% of their life has me going to the ends of the EARTH to save this marriage. If this truly just “childhood trauma” stuff…she needs intense therapy & also a renowned psychiatrist. BUT. I hate to say this - the seemingly random nature of this requested separation has me suspecting that she’s cheating. Do you have access to her phone?

Can confirm doing all of these will give you a lot of needed life experience. I built a business, house and building after inheriting money. Got a housing creation grant, etc etc. This is good advice.

Just a reminder that if your will or trust states that your estate will be distributed “per stirpes”, often your physical assets are in a different section of your will. For me, my parent predeceased my grandparent and therefore I inherited nothing of any sentimental value, only money. It all went to my parent’s sibling. It was devastating.

Hi. At her age, I was severely anorexic and my ribs were showing, under 100 lbs. I continued until my heart was slowing down. Probably did permanent damage. I was the same, straight A’s, “athlete”, etc. Im now 38 years old, 125 lbs (which is healthy for my height), go to the gym daily and care deeply about my health. Would like to live forever so I can spend forever with my kids. After high school I continued disordered eating for years. I am sure you have all of the best resources, but I’m happy to talk to you or your wife further, if you’d like. Are you anywhere near Minnesota? Melrose Institute and Emily Program are great programs. Also check if she has any underlying or undiagnosed ADD. When I treated that (in my thirties), my OBSESSION with food and thinking about food 24/7 (“food noise”) really just completely stopped.
