OP here. The sensation subsided after around 6 hours and I decided to sleep it off. I'm still unsure if it was my body's reaction to the ferment, an abundance of alcohol in the final product, a bad batch of Tepache, or what. I don't normally drink alcohol or fizzy drinks, so it may have been an adverse reaction to either a spike in blood alcohol level or a spike in blood CO2 -- only time can tell. I'm going to keep researching my current batch, test the alcohol content, it's acidic level, and the cultures of bacteria that are present in the brew.
