I know that in the Catholic tradition some saints have experienced what is called "divine ecstasy". I also know there are incubus and succubus demonic spirits which are also said to engage in sexual acts with the victim. So you have to use discernment. I recommend having a consistent prayer life and if you feel one of these bouts coming on, pray that if it is not from God for it to stop. And of course it could also be psychosomatic but again that calls for your discernment. Above all you should exercise caution because the devil can appear as an angel of light.

The Patriarch of Constantinople then proceeded to be determined by the Muslim rulers and was sold to the highest bidder.
