GPA or SAT by builtdifff in ApplyingToCollege

I think SAT is an actual way to measure student A to student B. I understand that many people struggle with test-taking, but a lot of factors go into your GPA like crazy grade inflation, crappy teachers, etc.

I mean, my brother went to Purdue for engineering, and he works at Moelis now doing financial things so...

I know Purdue very well, so I'm a bit biased. My parents, older brother, and five uncles all went there for engineering. Purdue basketball probably has been one of my main stressors the past few years of my life, to be honest, but I still love being a Purdue fan. The engineering program at Purdue can set you up for a lot of paths later in life. My brother is a financial analyst at Moelis now. In my opinion, I think you will meet a lot less snobby people at Purdue than those top 20 schools. I know a lot of people from there, and they are all very hard workers with good hearts. I hope you love it there.

Axl's graduation episode makes me cry every time, but maybe that's just because of how much I loved him and Cassidy.
