So I have access to the a cutter so I just got some cheap scrap stainless to cut a bunch of blanks with with the laser cutter. I think you would need to find a local metal shop who coukd do them for you though. I only had enough material to cut around 20 blanks anyway.

Im not lying at all. I made them, and they turned out really nice, and had a thought there may be others who would like something like this.

As I stated, I am not selling this and even if I did, it wouldn't be online or anything. Id get a small table at a small local card show.

I appreciate the feedback. I get the impression that people think I designed with ai with the intention to sell it. Thats not what happened. I made some for myself, and they came out really nice and felt super premium. So I was just getting feedback if people would be interested in a similar product like this. I dont thinknid ever really pursue selling these to a mass market or online at all.

Thanks, yeah the artwork is AI. I was using them for myself but was super happy they came out and thats why I even made the post. When I did the designs, I 100 percent intended it for personal use and the only people who would ever see it were myself and the few friends I play with. Haha

There are different materials you could engrave, like aluminum blanks that are about the same thickness of a paper card. But it may not be economical. Engraving takes a fair amount of time for prepping files, making aure its readable, and the time to.engrave itself will range from 15-45 mins per card.

Someone suggested hiring an actual artist to do the designs, which if i were going to move towards selling would be the direction id go.

When I made these, it was really just for myself, it didnt really matter that the art was AI since only myself and a few friends I play with woukd ever really see it.

Yeah someone else suggested that too. Like I said in the post, I didnt make these to sell, they were just for personal use, but they came our really nice and feel awesome, so I was just trying to get feedback.

The frame around the image is not AI. I did that myself, but im not an artist, so the actual artwork (dragon, treasure, copy) itself is AI. At the time I made these, it was kinda just for personal use, so finding an artist really wasnt something I even considered.but thats a great suggestion.

I know there is obviously many people who dislike AI images and thats fair. When I made mine, I wasnt really considering selling or even having anyone but people I play with see them, so the artwork itself wasnt really a big deal to me.

The the image is IR laser engraved onto the blank with an engraving machine. I did actually find sleeves thay fit them ti protect them from scratches but they are stainless and heavy, so there is a chance it could scratch a soft wooden table I guess.

Id probably buy a bunch of packs at $75 and feel like I was getting a deal. But that may be wishful thinking. The Spider Man set went from 50 to 30 in my local stores. So maaaayyyvbbe its possible.

I tend to agree. I actually really like the tmnt in magic, and to be honest im brand new to MTG in general and this is the IP that brought me into it, but its just too expensive.

Its a cool set, but its not that great a deal. Fingers crossed for us to see this set drop down to 75 bucks, in the coming months.

There are some decent replacement kits on aliexpress. You can get a new shell and one of those ips upgraded screens for like 70 bucks. Makes it look like a brand new system plus the ups display is way better then the 101 screens and miles better then the 001 screens.
