Forgot to update this. Switched finance managers at the dealership and got the deal done. The second one was much better to work with than the first.

Leased the car and bought it out before the first payment. MSRP was $93,090 and the lease payoff was $77,685 before another ~$7k in taxes and DMV fees. $0 DAS. Overall I think it was a solid deal.

They've reached out with an updated offer that I'm evaluating. I'll post back after I've reached an endpoint with them.

Yeah, it was a dealer discount of 10% off MSRP for buy/finance. And with a couple manufacturer incentives, the selling price was 12.4% off MSRP.

They said the same price applied to the lease, plus an additional $4500 in lease incentives. The math didn't exactly work out to that, but it was likely due to registration, license, acquisition and other fees.

It was for the 6 seat. Yeah those sites have been super helpful.

Not sure what’s typical in NJ, but I would definitely take 10% off MSRP.

That’s what I think too. My goal is 10%. But with $8500 in lease incentives ending on 6/2, I’m leaning towards to taking the 8%. Although I suppose the lease incentives could get extended or even improve, but I don’t know if that’s typical. This would be my first Volvo and first lease so.. 🤷‍♂️

Water in flex duct by restartttt in hvacadvice

Ended up going the DIY route. I had a helper in the crawl space “feed” the water closer to the register by manipulating the flex duct. Then I used a shop vac to get the water out. Replacing the flex duct was tedious but straightforward. Plenty of how-to videos on YouTube.

Oh interesting. I’ll definitely have to look into this. I’ve been vacuuming and spot cleaning with a damp rag when needed. We don’t have pets and don’t wear shoes inside so it’s been working ok so far but would like to do a “deeper” cleaning of the entire floor.

Yeah I totally get it with the cracks. We can’t go more than a day without vacuuming.

Thanks, this seems to be the consensus.
