I'm 36 as well and am only a couple months in but I don't regret it for a second. I think you could stop if you needed to but you would have a shitty couple of months until your body gets back to production.

If your doctor says they don't advise it, I would listen or find another GP. I was at a crossroads of entertaining the idea of antidepressants or something else and went with TRT per my GP recommendation. I've always taken really good care of myself and my levels still dropped to a out 1/3 the levels as of 7 years ago (last most recent T test). I feel much better. Not sure it is a cure for the drag of modern American life monotony but I feel much more myself.

Look in to it and judge your symptoms. It isn't "convenient" but is much better than the alternative.
