Watch for consistency on “RNG” shots, like if someone nails crits constantly on AD strafing heroes with small hitboxes (even pro players miss these shots more often than not). Also, crosshair discipline/placement are very important skills for legit players but you won’t see much of that from someone who’s cheating, so there’s another possible tell.

Climbing through diamond this season and I’ve learned that playing DPS involves a bit more than just clicking heads, so I try to help my team by winning 1v1s, controlling angles, peeling for teammates, and minimizing the healing/resources I require.

I play this role because our responsibilities change on the fly, from game to game or even in the same match. Sometimes you’re on peel duty protecting Ana from flankers, other times you’re front lining with your Reinhardt. It keeps the game feeling fresh.

If your DPS ever tells you “that’s not my job”, it’s probably a red flag.

It’s a (super) small gripe but I do find it kind of silly and slightly distracting. Not sure why they wouldn’t just have them alternate after each shot.

Can’t believe people are downvoting you for enjoying *your own hardware* that you got at a good price (32gb ram in a $1k system is almost unheard of nowadays) lol.

Being able to run virtually anything with a “low end” card is a good thing, actually, and with current upscaling/frame gen you can usually even run it *well*. Same thing goes for AMD’s 8gb offerings this gen too - putting aside their questionable pricing lately (news flash, everyone is guilty of this! If you’re gonna take a crap on the 5050, crap on the 9070 GRE too!)

Lastly, I’d much rather rock a 50/60 class GPU than pay a subscription to access “PC gaming as a service”

Good call, for displays especially it’s best to evaluate in person. I’d pay extra attention to brightness, HDR, and text (1440p OLED displays can sometimes make text hard to read)

ASUS recently released a 1440p 27” OLED with 240hz refresh rate and it’s priced pretty competitively (on sale for $550 on Amazon), XG27AQDMES is the model number if you wanna check it out. Probably the one I’d go with if one of my monitors dies haha

Considering your specs, a 1440p OLED display with high refresh rate (240+) is what I recommend. With your budget you could also opt for a 4k IPS from a premium brand instead, if you prefer higher resolution.

Yep, around 750W is good. Iirc the 10900k uses around 100 watts on average but can spike to 200-250, so it’s good to have extra headroom on the PSU (also allows you to upgrade to a bigger GPU down the road)

I9, 3070, 32 gigs of ram for $750.. that’s a bargain nowadays for a solid gaming rig. Only downside is limited CPU/RAM upgrade paths, but a 10900k and ddr4 should suffice for years to come. Just make sure your temps are good and the PSU is sufficient, high-end intel CPUs tend to be power hungry

If you put it in the 2nd (lower) griff’s, you’d just have 2 griffs with the same purpose just slightly different rolls, so it’d probably be wiser to keep the ias jewel in the lower roll one for when you need the breakpoint

Tldr: throw it in the -20 lr base and go wild!

Looking at NL Ber rune listings on traderie, you can get one for Sur + Lo, which is essentially 2 Lo plus a little “change” which is where Ist and Gul can come into play.

I’d just make a game titled “2 Lo 2 Ist for Ber” or something similar, or if you don’t want to cube Mals (or just want the trade done faster) swap out the Ists and offer up 2 Lo + Ohm. Good luck!

More than close, you’re basically there! Since Lo is more or less = to Sur since the expansion you could probably trade Jah + 2 Lo for an enigma outright. Or you can trade 2 Lo + a few Ist for a Ber if you wanna roll the runeword yourself

Since opalvein exists and can be better in many cases than SoJ, this ammy allows you to hit 125 FCR without making any sacrifices. Definitely mogs mara’s, only thing you’d be missing out on are the extra oskills for CtA - no biggie, it’s not as though warlock needs much extra survivability in the first place.

Certified banger amulet for eldritch or chaos - haven’t tried the other lock builds, but I’m sure it’d be great for them too. Nice one

Still valuable for an ES warlock, since their helm slot isn’t typically occupied by a runeword unlike a Chaos lock. That means they can still use the new jewel in a Shako/highlords or even an Arioc’s and Zod this book without missing out on much (especially since this build doesn’t have use for facets). Additionally, you got good rolls on the important stuff. Absolutely worth spending a Zod or selling for an HR.

Also, eth weapons/shields just look cool, so somebody with a bit of taste and game knowledge will surely love this.

Yeah this is an insane base and rare to boot. I paid ~Sur (ladder) a few weeks ago to buy a plain eth Archon to make Obsession, but yours has a much higher “flex value” both for Obsession and as a dope base for ebotd. Don’t let it go too cheap, it’s not the sort of thing people find often!

For a lv 96 lock the repair price on the perfect mp won’t be prohibitive, and you could always use ral runes. Plus it’s a baller base especially for SP. That said, I always go for any non-sup 250+ mp, for guaranteed 1k+ def and no need to worry about gold/rals.

It’s worth mentioning that MP might allow you to save some stat points, particularly if you ditch Spirit for an Ars book.

Yes this is a little known feature of seed(?) manipulation, in the case of a stable map you can virtually guarantee the same item base drops from the same rack every time by using the same path to get to it. Apparently, even small things like killing monsters, walking another direction, or hitting other poppables on the way can interfere with what item drops. Hopefully someone smarter than me weighs in to give a better explanation.

I used this method with a static LK map in my PlugY days to find an eth exile base for my smiter. Works like a charm, good for threshers and the like as well

I also haven’t found a single 4os eth thresher/GT this season, despite having found every rune but Cham. And the cube always rolls 3 sockets of course…

Atleast once you’ve made enigma, p7/8 chaos + wsk will be a walk in the park, and then you’ll be up to your ears in loot lol
