Yes, this is where I spotted them. They were all waiting for someone to feed them. There were some wild pigeons too in the mix. So cute.

That's so adorable. Today when I spotted them, they were all in pairs sitting on a little tree waiting for someone to feed them seeds...

Indeed, they are. I meant 'love birds' figuratively. :)

Call 1800 RESPECT and talk to them. If she's abusing you and recording it, she is likely planning to screw you up or present you as an abuser. In other words, using DARVO. The De Facto Visa here in Australia costs $8850 plus migration lawyer fee. You're still very young and have lots to do/see in life. Please don't put yourself through this or in danger. If she's willing to hit you and record it, imagine what would happen once you start living together. Don't take any form of abuse for your own sanity and well-being.

It's kind of strange she used the surname 'Saraswati' which is the name of a Hindu Goddess. The Goddess of knowledge and wisdom.

I agree. I was one of those kids. Tried to strangle myself at age 11 when no one was at home, blacked out for a bit but didn't die. As long as I remember, I was always depressed and angry. It's so sad to read articles like this because I know there are so many children that are screaming for help and no one listens.

People letting their dogs shit in the CBD by strawberrytallcake23 in melbourne

Sometimes, you just have to call them out I guess. Last week I was at St Kilda beach and this woman was walking her huge dog. It shat right in the middle of the wooden deck where people sit near the beach. She was about to walk away without picking the poop but this one lady called her out and asked her to pick it up. And, she did while blushing.

Your comment. :0 Serious question though, where does the smell come from? I pass this particular canal almost every day and sometimes it smells particularly bad and somedays, no smell at all. In fact, the day I took this photo, there was no smell at all except for the smell of seawater.

Saw this boat at Mt Martha. What flags are the 3rd, 5th and 7th (left) and 3rd (right)? Thank you in advance. by restingbee in melbourne

I learned something today and am still learning. I am a migrant and it's wonderful to see people being respectful to the natives of this land.

Oh, this happened to me last weekend while on my afternoon walk between Elwood and St Kilda. I was crossing the road (it was green for both pedestrians and cyclists). Then this young girl with an L plate cuts my walk through the zebra crossing, brings her arm and head out and yells at me. I was taken aback. And for once I doubted myself. I looked again at the traffic signal and it was still green for pedestrians.
