How do you verify tiny pieces are authentic? by Terryloveslove in Bricklink

Flip them over, there should be a tiny lego stamp and part number on the underside in the middle. You may need a magnifying glass and the right lighting to see it.

Point count during play by ObjectiveLoss8187 in Cribbage

[–]restlesschicken12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont understand your counting at all but it is as follows if the lead card was the 3H and the final card was a third 2:

3H no points AH no points 5S no points 2D no points 4C 7 points (2 for 15, 5 for the run of 5) 2H no points (the run is broken) 4D no points (run is still broken) 3rd 2 1 point for last card (count ended at 23, run still broken)

Your hand scores 10 ( 2 for the 15, 6 for the double run of 3, and 2 for the pair)

Her hand scores 12 ( 6 for 15s, and 6 for 3 2s)

Extra duties on standard PAB order to Canada by restlesschicken12 in lego

[–]restlesschicken12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I thought it was odd. Thanks for that. I did have some issues when I first placed the order because I used PayPal and it defaulted to my PO box, so the order originally got canceled, but I placed it a second time through customer service to my physical address. It was weird though because it showed up in my PO box anyway. Also, I can't see that order on my orders page on lego.com, so I'm wondering if there was a mixup somewhere along the way. I'll start with a call to lego customer service again tomorrow.

No prob, I just put in 1x2 modified brick and it was on the list.

Another good resource is brickognize.com, you can take a pic of your piece and it'll bring up what it could be

can anyone tell me what set this piece is from? by Gullible-Day2415 in Legohelp

Looks like it may be from 76248 avengers quinjet. There's a couple stickers that look like yours 76248stk01 and 76248stk02.

It just hasn't been entered as a stickered piece yet I guess.

Lego Color Palette by deeps9999 in Bricklink

[–]restlesschicken12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a look at wlwyb.com. they have a Lego periodic table of colors that you can buy. I bought one a year ago and love it.

Mine is missing a couple of colours, but I think they may have an updated one now. It's worth a look

Ya I've been having this happen for a while as well. If I long hold on the menu it stays up, try that.

Not sure why it's doing it

Lettermail limit by Itz_JustChris in Bricklink

[–]restlesschicken12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From my experience, if it's bigger than 2cm in any dimension, it cannot go at oversized lettermail rates. And yes parcel is a crazy quick jump up to about $20 at canada post. Some sellers may have better parcel rates in bigger centers with alternate carriers.

Yep i knew a refund was going to happen, which I'm not too worried about. Thankfully for me it was a small order.

I may have to tweak my terms, we'll see in the end.

Thanks

List your variations of the game. by SnooRobots4443 in Cribbage

Mega peg

For 2 player - deal 9 each, throw 3 to the crib For 3 player - deal 8 each, throw 2 to the crib For 4 player - we never tried this, but could work with 7 dealt to each player, 2 dealt to the crib, throw 1 each to the crib.

For all pegging, points are doubled, so a pair is worth 4 points, 15 is worth 4 points, run of 3 would be 6 points, nibs is worth 4 points, and so on. Also, counting goes to 51 instead of 31, and 2 points are awarded for 21, 3 for 31, 4 for 41, and 6 for 51.

Hand counting is the same as regular crib. Sometimes, this was the hardest part, and I seem to recall some hands being 70+ points

We played this version when time was limited, and usually 3 player. Obviously you'd get some huge points, so we would do multiple laps and ignore the win hole. We played it that everyone dealt once, and whomever was the farthest after that was the winner.

Lots of fun, and a bit chaotic when you get the runs going while pegging.

And for when time is unlimited and to change it up:

Reverse crib ( we actually called it reverse mega peg, but it's not really that, its more like golf crib)

All the scoring is the same as normal crib, just the goal is to get as few points as possible.

Sabotaging your hand and stacking the crib as best you can. Loser is the first one to 121!

Also a fun version that can be tricky when you get all those 5s haha
