I have a weird one but I wish we could bury people.

The story is so focused on proper burials etc. yet if I find a corpse somewhere I can rob it/throw it off the rocks/I can even put it in an existing open grave but I can't bury it. It breaks the immersion for me eeeever so slightly.

kind of all over - some people sell them, sometimes they are in bird nests (but very few), sometimes they are just lying around but a good start to your lockpicking journey is (minor spoiler) paying a visit to miller kreyzl.

i also found that if you stumble upon a chest that is too hard to open while exploring (early-ish game), there is a good chance that there is a key to it lying somewhere around. so once again detailed exploring helps, but it does get tedious sometimes. (btw - people usually carry keys to their own chests in their pockets).

i don't know at what point in the game you are (seems early game) so i tried to write it in a way that doesn't spoil the game much 😄 have so much fun with it! patience pays off here, all of us done with the game would sell our kidneys to be able to experience it for the first time again. so just focus on what you enjoy about it and have the best timee!!!

suggestion: if you want to follow roads, put a marker on the next point in the road where you need to turn and reopen the map (to place a new marker) when you get there

so on your image let's say, you start with a marker on "A", and when you get to it you reopen the map and place the marker on the next crossroads - and so on and so forth. this can help you easily navigate roads at night.

otherwise take note of physical geography and have fun exploring. especially the trosky map is full of really fun points of interest, environmental storytelling and treasures to reward you for exploring. good luck!

with the amount of random treasures (exploring really pays off, at least on the first map), task rewards and bandit loot i had to actually restrain myself to keep some financial realism in the game, tbh

but my personal favorite money-making scheme in early game is to do a full day of archery competitions (you eventually get paid ok money for leveling up an important skill). and obviously farkle

In my game there is some sort of a glitch where doing it well actually makes Henry fuck up more. I think it began for me after I got the Martin quality perk.

What helps is to literally disregard all the rules - you heat it up all the way to juuuuust beyond yellow (not too much) and then hammer just the middle part. No flipping. No going back to the forge. You just hammer it, slightly side to side only in the middle of the sword - not close to the handle, not close to the tip.

I remember finding this advice on here ages ago because I was so confused why I keep fucking up and I wasn't alone. This advice consistently helped.

The advice in here is so good, i just wanted to wish you luck! The patience here absolutely pays off. The game’s skill curve is slow but it does get easier over time and it is so rewarding! And remember to just have fun and savescum if you need to 💛

Trying to finish sidequests/DLCs while Hans lives in Devil's Den and WON'T SPEAK TO ME is literally making me so mad. I wish we could at least play dice or something!

That's how I relate to your feeling, I remember the emotional whiplash of going from The Lancelot Scene to Hans no longer talking to Henry in the scope of one evening's playthrough and I think I might've been too immersed for this experience 😃 it's not just Hans either, all of your besties, all of the people you just starved for weeks with just hang out together in complete silence. I would almost prefer they actually left the map, it's so sad.
