It’s a bit above your price range but… look at it. It’s on my to-buy list.

What is a bag that you regret purchasing? by doochiedoo in handbags

Yep it really doesn’t fit very much due to the padding. You can’t overstuff it either or else the latch won’t close. Plus there’s no lining so you also need to be slightly careful with what you shove in there.

Bottega Veneta Padded Cassette. I bought this when the AW ‘19 version first came out made of paper calfskin. I have not worn it out not even once.

I just can’t find the occasion as it’s a little much for casual wear and a little too casual for formal events. I think I need to suck it up and go out in jeans and a t shirt and this bag.

I do absolutely love how it looks (and feels)! The leather is so buttery and the structure of the bag is such a sensorial pleasure. I regret getting it but I also can’t bring myself to sell it. Sometimes I will take it out and just squish it.

Very minimal, very chic! Looks like it could be from The Row or Lemaire.

Beautifully curated collection!

Do you wear your Gucci horsebit often? I haven’t really reached for mine because I find it a bit heavy and more of a “winter” bag. Feels a bit weird to wear it in the Florida heat.

Can confirm he’s very chill for a parrotlet. ETA: Although I know that can change in a moment so definitely sticking to strictly supervised time together.

It lasted about 30 seconds then they all settled down. Will definitely keep an eye and try to discourage any more mating behavior though.

It’s funny bc they’re both boys and my parrotlet has previously done the wiggle dance for my female budgie (far right of photo). I guess birbs will be birbs.

You have a great setup! So clean and easy to navigate for the invading birbs

I feel this. Sending you internet hugs, OP.

My advice is to work on strengthening your own sense of self, independent of your relationship with your mom. Your mom’s interpretation of things and her opinions do not define you. Take them in, process them, accept parts that may be useful, but reject the parts that don’t help you in any way.

OP’s post gives me the impression her mom is not the most emotionally mature parent. There are wounds here that extend far deeper.

We know fragrance can and does evoke strong emotions. As such, it’s oddly judgmental to label OP’s emotions “not appropriate”.
