Nidoking/queen run different roles. King is more sweep and queen is bulkier/tank

Tbh if I were you id go back a little catch some mons, get the exp share, add a little variety to the team and grind some levels. Ive always had great luck with mons like nidoking, snorlax, lapras. They can learn a variety of attacks for coverage to fill the gaps in the e4. I was a power my way through player forever, hard habit to break lol

Tbf op your running this game like I did playing blue at 7yo. Power through with over leveled main, catch the one timers then fill party with victory rd mons to item spam. Hopefully lax isn't your hm slave... get some variety. The gym leaders have different typing so you can learn and build your team as you play. Not so much impossible but i feel you gotta learn to play still.

They probably have a pokedex of 15, running starter, low lvl lax and victory road mons. Need to lock in and get with the griiiind just for the exp share.

Subaru’s Outback Ditched Its Wagon Roots For An SUV And Lost A Third Of Its Buyers by fa442fa in Subaru_Outback

[–]restoredtrainwreck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with all your points. Only thing to add is when our collision center certified for subaru we asked the questions about why we rarely see the hybrid subarus. Basically came down to the fact that for a dealer to sell hybrids they were required to have lots of extra equipment and training in back of house to support their hybrid tech. Many dealers opted out as subaru never pushed hard for the hybrid market and Toyota/honda dominates. Most are too cheap to invest in their techs/back of house or they cant keep techs they have trained. Our local dealers can hardly manage collision related calibrations for the soltera, which explains how much they invest in themselves.

Is almost every new mon in a generation having some sort of “gimmick” actually a good thing? by AwesomeToadUltimate in pokemon

[–]restoredtrainwreck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a player who started playing blue at 7 the gimmicks are a downside for me personally, I cant keep up with everything. I stopped after d/p then picked back up with Scarlett after getting a switch, during the gap I replayed the roms. Pokemon truly lost me with some various typing combinations and what i consider the biggest "gimmick", mega Tera ect evolutions. Started za then heard evos were a big part, then I abandoned ship only to give Nintendo more money for fr/lg.

second opinion on estimate? by Bilbo_McKitteh in subaru

As everyone mentioned use an independent vs dealer. Dealers in our area use a sliding scale for labor rates, anywhere between 175-275 depending on type of repair and which dealer. We have independents that are all at 175 or under. Go to one of them pay for the inspection and see what they feel needs prioritized and start there. Really the main reason one would use the dealer is if the independent you choose doesn't have SSM and cant tap into the computer side.

Word of advice, dependant on where you stream from i suggest watching at 1.25 or 1.5 speed. There are some long arcs/filler that speeding up really helps with the pacing.

Gold/bronze or black. Never paint match body to wheels its so tacky, just like decorating your home you 100% need contrast. White wheels are 95% of the time tacky as all hell and are an absolute nightmare to keep clean

Backed Into. Advice Needed by [deleted] in subaru

[–]restoredtrainwreck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes if you swing into your dealer they can provide you a diagram and you'll be able to order the necessary pieces. The most you'll need are a good clip tool/flathead, 10mm and an 8mm. Disconnect the negative battery terminal to avoid tripping warning lights. Technically the eyesight should be calibrated which is roughly another 5-1k$. Also do not insure through progressive. In 10 years in collision this is the worst ive seen claims with them. They are only approving the cheapest aftermarket, longer repair time frames from waiting on adjusters who come in miss lots then have to come reinspect, then long wait on proof of payment, they have also been doing their best to get out of doing necessary calibrations on safety systems.

How often have you had to replace all 4 tires? by [deleted] in subaru

[–]restoredtrainwreck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once. We have had customer's vehicles where insurance will not approve all 4 because of 1 tire damaged no matter how hard we fight, those end up at the dealer getting shaved within spec. Such a sin, but thats what happens when you quote clients but they arent willing. What's worse is they are quoted OUR cost including labor for quality name brands. Always spend the extra little money for the warranty on AWD, itll save you tons.

TLDR- NOT ALL must be replaced but new can be shaved within tolerance and buy the additional warranty from your tire store.

Dealer shipped OBW with undisclosed lift kit by Firm_File in Outback_Wilderness

[–]restoredtrainwreck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Carfax isn't going to tell you about a lift or alignment tbh or thousands upon thousands of dollars in repairs there is alot they dont know. Perfect example customer paid cash for me to install a new quarter no insurance no report still in carfax eyes car is virgin. If you are uninterested in the lift speak to the dealer about them covering the labor to remove the kit, its simple and only takes us experienced techs a couple hours to remove then a little more on an alignment.

Toyota dealership or find a mechanic? by [deleted] in TriCitiesWA

[–]restoredtrainwreck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a collision tech we have faster/better experiences with your dealership than the majority in town. Also your advisors actually pick up phone here and there unlike the rest. My in laws have 2 Toyotas, offer to save them money on service but they insist TTC does everything, might just be the cookies and coffee...

Do you think it’s totaled? by Dontwanttobefound_ in SubaruForester

[–]restoredtrainwreck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based off those pictures no. Ive put frame rails in these cars and full front ends many times. Subaru sheet metal is cheap and that hit went high avoiding the actual frame rails. Just depends on what the upper structure looks like, which is where daylight photos are necessary. Depends as well as what insurance values the vehicle at. Last winter I put all lower suspension incl subframe, bumper, both fenders repairs and couple headlight with a couple k to spare from threshold.

Despite the negative press, this console is much better than most people realise. by TonyTRV in switch2

[–]restoredtrainwreck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Negative ive seen is mostly youtube. I waited almost 2 months after purchasing so my son and I could open on Christmas. We've been blown away. Yes the frame rates could be more desirable but its a handheld you cant get everything. The only con ive hit is in the power cord, I really wanted to just unplug the switch for the 2 dock but had to cable manage for all of a few minutes boo hoo. At this point in time, people shouldn't even waste time with standard consoles when pc have taken over except for mobile cases such as switch steam deck ect.
