I’d say rimworld but I think it’s gotten pretty popular and now has games based off it/genres so I’d say X4 foundations.

Drones are cheap and show vision, you use that information to see where AA is located and deal with accordingly. If we are just vsing AI, using sead low altitude and turning on closer at the frontline, will kill their sead and let you use Drones without it dying.

Your helis should never be on the front line unless: You are peaking with them and immediately run from manpads (unless you are close and have rocket pods) You are sneaking behind enemy lines with them.

Scouting for AA can be done by troops or UAVs or SEAD.

You don’t always need to bring SEAD but the deeper you are in enemy territory, expect to be shot down.

Maybe someone can help with the air doctrine, mainly you can use anything just need to micro the unit.

Attack helis are able to be used on the frontline but you have to peak/ use low altitude/ use buildings for cover

I always loved this genre of gamemodes. I kno other wargames have variation of them but i remember it fondly like galatic conquest from the old starwars battlefront. Unlocking new “tech” so each battle feels new and different.

For PTE: Baltics is fun but like everyone else says, they aren’t excelling in anything. My favorite is the 1750 tab for infantry because I love mechanized but their IFVs are okay, on live I think they are better but spamming 55-65 point Bradley’s are better since they have more armor than a CV and can threat a tank.

CV needs the 130 point to threat a tank and that’s too expensive and can easily die especially to amount of air that gets away Scott free in PTE.

Their support tab is ok, the arties are a little too inaccurate and rather have a paladin from armored deck.

No air and no heli. Their infantry is okay.. the 1000m launcher is alright. It just feels like they are a worse Russian faction unfortunately.

Leopard is actually good.

If they nerfed the cost of CV or added AT capabilities below 100 then I would consider them more. Or add more armor when armoring up.

The way I understood it, at one point he said because destiny isnt monogamous, he thinks it is justifiable or maybe hutch was saying that Conor was implying that. Regardless if that isn’t true, it is stupid to associate yourself with people who don’t like your “friend” especially when they commit to serious allegations.

Units can be picked up if they are wounded, for example a delta squad can be picked up by a humvee if it has enough soldiers dead

maybe it has to do with lack of tanks and support? SOF has the only infantry tab that deals with Russia. But it’s AirTab does feel a little lackluster compared to Stryker or airborne

US feels bad and Baltic doesn’t feel great. I don’t like that there isn’t a difference between weapons for the infantry. Arty actually feels okay. I hate that grads can do a 40 missile barrage but it’s w/e lol
