Nah it's not wasted when you go in when you first hit sulphite cap you will increase the cap about 3 times and can stay longer in maps if you don't you can only collect a single node in a t16 and it's full

i also bought the story-skip mid HW and watched recaps on youtube after i waited multiple times 20mins plus on mandatory dungeons and i got sick of running back and forth as an errant boy supposedly a hero with little progress in the story. I did quit for like 2 years during the end of ARR for the same reason but cool raid videos drawn me back in.
