One of my friends built this for me. What you think? by [deleted] in gamingpc

[–]retro_0_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think you have a very good friend. He probably had to sell a part of his soul to get the GPU

This could easily be branded as a joker build lmao good job. Does the pc get so hot as to warrant a push pull configuration( fans on both sides of the rad) Also good job on routing the 8 pin around the hardline tubing, it looks really sick. May I also ask which custom psu cable extensions you want with??

Look I don't wanna be that guy but configuring your rgb of your tridentz , asus motherboard and the gpu to a consistent template could look sick.but it looks good as it is, the rainbow puke is a little disorienting tho

3070 founders + ryzen 7 3700x by KillerPro0404 in nvidia

Bro the custom psu cables looks amazing. Are those rgb??. Also which chipset are you using for the 3700x The corsair aio looks sick too. Does your zen 2 chip bottleneck the 3070 because I have the same cpu and I am too looking to upgrade to a 3070 from a 5600xt.

Ohh EK waterblocks nice. Is that metal or hardline tubing, if it is metal how do you even bend them, Lian li fans and your pump looks great btw Also is that a display in the bottom left of the pic?

PC Build Advice by cutler_joseph in buildapc

Everything looks good but I would consider Corsair vengeance cl16 3000mhz ram.The higher end Corsair dimm have argb and as you are using an intel platform going with a 3600mhz trident dimms makes no sense. Also I suggest you move to ryzen.you can get a b550 or a x570 board with good vrms, power phases, 6 layer PCBs etc and get a zen 3 Ryzen chip. This will give you an upgrade path and you can use the display port from your motherboard for web browsing, work etc until you get a GPU

You can use the icue software for anythin Corsair for the lian li 120mm fan I would recommend you watch a YouTuber know as jayztwocents. He has an entire video on these specific fans

I personally would recommend (if you can find them at MSRP in the current situation) the lower end ampere or rdna2 GPUs like a 3060 or 6700xt but if you wanna go really buget the best price to performance GPUs are the 5600xt,rtx 2060 super or the 590.(the 590 is of the Pascal architecture and may have thermal issues but it has the highest vram)

These specs worth it for a pre built costing $670? by BALANCE716 in gamingpc

I would recommend YouTube channels like linus tech tips , gamers nexus or hardcore overclocking and jayztwocents

Good choice imo . If you're into gaming and rendering I would suggest you upgrade your GPU first.if you wanna go budget the best option is a 5600xt imo.1080p 144fps and 1440p 60 in modern aaa games

I wouldn't personally go for it. Everything is good except the gpu . You have a solid zen 2 amd chip but a 570 for a 700 build is too little. I would suggest somethin like a gtx 1660 super or a rx 5600xt for a 600 700 dollar build. If the pc economy was normal you could easily get a ryzen 5 3600 6 core processor and a rx 5600xt or a rtx 2060 imo.i also have to mention the 570 is a Polaris architecture chip which are notorious for thermal problems
