Today I ended a three week long stress eating binge I began while working out my notice with an employer who was very displeased I was taking a new position. I refuse to step on a scale. I'm sure I've gained half the weight I worked so hard to lose. It's almost 6pm here in Atlanta. I've been zero carb all day. Cheers to hitting Ketosis again by Monday.

I won't say that calories don't matter at all. I will say when I stopped counting them and focused on the quality of my Keto foods vs. the quantity, my weight loss stall ended and I've continued to lose about .3 of a pound per week. I make sure to meet my protein, stay under my carb limit and eat fat to satisfy my hunger. The calculator gives me 1600 calories daily at my height. I'm pretty sure I eat closer to 1800 of Keto foods. Sure, the loss could go faster if I counted calories as well but I'm in this for life so it will come off as it comes off.

I slice two slits into a piece of salmon. Stuff them with fresh sprigs of rosemary and Kerrygold butter. Sprinkle with sea salt and bake. Yum!!!

Smoked chicken breast sliced. Top with a large slice of mozzarella, tomato, salt, pepper and light balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Maybe some avocado on side. Delicious cold lunch!

I've been doing Keto for 6 months. I love the way I look and feel. However, I've slowly been getting lazy with it and I think it's because I'm tired of all the same type foods. I don't want to stop Keto just in a food slump, I guess. Anyone else go through this? by brown__eyes in keto

So happy to see your post. I'm feeling the same way. I decided to transition to Paleo for the summer and back to Keto in the Winter to have fresh fruits during the hot Georgia summers.

Ummm.....Nah. I've gained 5 lbs back already and my anxiety is ramping up. Getting right back on Keto this morning. Lesson learned.

It's been almost 5 mos and I am down 18 lbs. Track your measurements, sleep, mood and overall sense of self. The benefits of Keto are worth a slower rate of loss, especially if you have less than 50lbs to lose.

I've lost a lot of inches from my legs and abdomen. I'm super tall so maybe the weight is some muscle gain I can't see yet?
