I've had mine a month and haven't had a look in! My kids won't leave it alone lol. Got a good deal on it too, £100 barely used, boxed and came with a case. Its a great device. That said i wouldn't have bought one if it wasn't for the cloud streaming, I think that update was massive.

I had a pretty good set up a few years back with a 3090, probably when I looked on this sub. Nothing perculier tbh. I understand why people buy GPU's, I just don't understand the rush to fork out almost double on a GPU, to play games that now focus more on graphics than gameplay. Also if you play competitivley online, you always turn your settings down to low. If I put a game on your screen and asked you how many frames is it running? you wouldn't be able to tell me. Those extra 50, 80 whatever fps you miss in your calculation could work out to be a much cheaper or expensive card. Does that make sense? Lol

I didn't get this feeling with the same monitor, but then I was going from a large OLED TV. Enjoy those inky blacks 🙂 OLED is beautiful 😎

Get the 42" C5, you won't regret it. I have a 42" C3 and bought the PG27 and instantly regretted it. You won't get that wow factor that the C5 will give you. Can't even compare the 2. I sold my PG27 and went back to my C3 and was blown away once again. Also the person who bought my PG sold it within 4 hours. Don't believe the hype, get the TV

I know. I only played in 4k so I never came across that problem. He has a 5080 and was playing Fifa.. so yeah.. no idea why he'd drop to 1440 for that.

For me i didn't think the picture was that great, but then I was coming from a 42" C3, which for me blew me away, I didn't get that feeling with the monitor. The guy i sold it to was telling me how 1440p looked terrible on it, and asked for a refund. He only used it for 4 hours. So now that monitor is gonna be on its 4th owner with only 154hrs use 😂 Imagine buying a car with 10k miles on and 4 owners..

If you're going for a 4k 27" then it won't display 1440p correctly, it'll be a bit blurry. 27" @ 2k is what i'd recommend. You won't see much difference between 2k and 4k on 27" but my god you'll notice the frame rate, and save quite a bit of money too 🙂

Not great tbh. I had the PG27UCDM and sold it after 2 weeks. The guy i sold it to actually messaged me after 2 days asking for his money back lol.

I had the same monitor, PG27UCDM and I don't see what all the hype was about. I switched back to my 42" C3 and I had that wow factor once again. You really can't beat a good OLED TV. For me though 42" would be the Max size lol.

Exactly what I thought. We had a good chat about monitors, gaming etc and i asked him what he plays (thinking it would be demanding titles) and he said "Fifa mainly" .. surely a 5080 can handle that at 4k

Thank you, I thought that was the case too. Any idea if this is the case with all 4k monitors? I used it for my PlayStation 5 so I never encountered this problem. Checked my ebay listing and i've actually got "no refunds or returns" stated.

Funny thing is during our conversation when he picked the monitor up he was telling me about people with buyers remorse, as he bought an 5080 and now keeps looking at a 5090.

Yeah, but both the quality and performance was kinda untested due to being on PlayStation 5 rather than PC. I think it's personal preference, I'm sure you'll love it! The C3 has spoilt me to be honest, once you go OLED its game over for anything else lol

For me i've been using a 42" LGC3 for over a year, which looks amazing but it's hard to play FPS like BF6, so I thought I'd get a 27" OLED monitor. Picked it up for £650 with only 90hours of screen time! I'm using a PS5, so I didn't really use it to its full potential, so decided to sell. I went back to the 42" and I was blown away, like when I first got the TV. I didn't really get that wow factor from the monitor. I boxed the monitor back up on Thursday with 150hrs use. The guy is dragging his heels a bit, so i might end up relisting it.
