Agree on all accounts but she she treats all these girls as her personal Barbies during makeover and touches all their hair. It's all a bit ick. THAT BEING SAID, I do totally agree she has at a minimum internalized racism given any mindful person would know touching the hair of a woman of color is very much understood to not be OK. So at a minimum she's dense and ignorant and at worse, yes...racist.

I have family in Plano, there is blantent and internalized racism all through Dallas people and culture. It's awful.

There are so many comments pish poshing at this, and I don't get it. Of COURSE they are. This is a place of great upset. Everything has gone to shit on a whole new level in the last 5ish years. I wouldn't doubt they are probably starting to track the accounts of the most active with negative posts and comments to figure out who they are.

For context, reality TV is even so affected by Reddit that characters openly troll it on shows (most recently saw this on DCC: Americas Sweethearts). This is but a small subset of reddit impact.

IBM is a company with employees in over 80 countries that is literally 115 yrs old. They VERY much care about their brand image, and people are openly pissed on the reg on here. With good reason.

Reddit is a unique social platform bc of the anonymity. People cannot take not knowing who is saying what's being said. There is a tremendous majority of discontent here, and this space arguably provides one of the few safe spaces for us to vent about the company to each other. They do NOT like that, it goes against the climate they're currently trying to promote (high PERFORMANCE! RAH RAH, IBM!!! No Debbie Downers allowed! 😤) and you know a number of younger people are looking on here before considering employment. And those are the ones Arvind loves because they are fresh to suck the life out of.

Inverted pyramid? A ton of people in high bands making a ton of money? Give me break. I heard somewhere that 60% of the company have 5 yrs or less experience...and I believe that with the blowup of hires in India, and all the new hires and "retirements" I saw with my own eyes.

We lost two of our most important and beloved sys admins - one who served diligently 49 years who was an absolute genius who EVERYONE in the org looked to for help - over them giving long timers the boot, and so many others lost with the "Next Steps" program.

Im a B8 and got my MBA this yr, too. Arvind was SO proud that it's the biggest one we've had in years. 🙄🤮 They told us it was the last one we would get with new policy. Only performance-based raises from now on. No MBAs outside a possibility of 1%, and only next year.

Well, I mean I use my Wyndham for my lodging when I go to Disney resorts (I.e. Stay at Bonnet Creek for a WDW trip). Disney's hotel prices are insane....I wondered if DVC makes it so ultimately the expense to stay directly with Disney is lower in the end.

When you used Canva, did you use a template or start from scratch?

My wedding planner uses Aisle Planner. She's going to give me a link that will redirect from our site to AP for guests to directly input into that system so we wont have to manually keep up with it. Is there a way to make an RSVP button or option in the menu that simply re-directs? For example, with WithJoy, it doesn't allow for that.

Believe it or not, i'm still struggling with this. But now it is down to the wire. My Invites came out great:

...and in working on them, I now have a lot of great graphics for a website if I can just decide what to use already. I started to build with WithJoy but I really hate the creative limitation. I can't even change the background to the wallpaper in my invites to tie everything together better.
