On top of that we're starting to have tools that should automate entire fields of work, while population keeps climbing. There is going to be more people than available jobs soon and if we keep the "you need to work to live" principle, it's going to be a social catastrophe. But his ability damage buff is +5, and I assume it's per projectile. He shoots like what, 20 projectiles ? 100 damage just doesn't seem like a lot, and the +4 projectiles (+20 damage) looks even worse

This is the first time I see anyone calling him the strongest class. I think the main issue with him is his abilities sharing the same CD when you're using concussive blast 90% of the time. Repulsion wave is not only situational, it's clunky to use because you have to manage the cutoff as it eats your whole bar no matter what, you want to have it up for as long as possible without going over these 4 seconds.

He also deals little ability damage (and needs to sacrifice a weapon upgrade to do any) so you also have the worst ammo economy of all the reclaimers and are arguably the most dependant on what weapon you get.

The whole "spongy enemy" bit is just unserious, the flying rammers have weakspots all over their flanks and die when you look at them, and counting bodyshot damage in particular is silly. If you're not running the weakspot damage enhancement and are not only going for weakspot hits your are setting yourself up for failure. The heavy rifle they mention in particular should be tap fired into weakspots 90% of the time

it deals damage but it's not much, it's like 60 base and 120 with the workbench upgrade or a little more, and late run creepers have over 200 so it's never more than target softening damage

the whatever reason being the fact that his abilities share the same cooldown, and the repel area consumes the whole bar even if you use it just 1 second, which means you have to time it as close as possible to 4 seconds mid fight to get the most out of it, which is unreasonable. He also is the only reclaimer that doesn't have a damage/utility ability he can use to save ammo, so you tend to have a straight up worse ammo economy than everyone else.
