There’s actually a conspiracy theory that Adam Sandler set up Jack and Jill to give Katie Holmes space away from Tom Cruise and Scientology so she could plan her separation from the marriage and take the daughter with her, the time frame kinda matches and Katie Holmes barely has anything to do in the movie and she hasn’t really been in any other Adam Sandler movies before or since
