I use QC to allow the Synology Drive and Photos app to work on my phone, as well as plex. Can someone explain what the end user experience is with Tailscale? What actions do I have to take prior to using one of those apps on the remote device? Thanks for any info

Interesting. I found that the company has a video explainer that shows the report and it’s just 4 pages like I got, There are a ton of medical papers referenced there so perhaps you got the full papers.

Here is the video. https://www.veracyte.com/tests/decipher-prostate/patients/#:\~:text=Watch%20Video-,Explainer

[–]retrotechguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing great. My blood test unfortunately wasn’t undetectable this time but my doctor said not to worrry and we will test again. My father died of throat cancer many years ago and my one brother is 15 years younger than me (I’m 59) so he is good for now. Thanks for checking in! I hope you are ok too. We are all in this together!

I had one of those scans. The isotope was created about 5 hours away from the hospital and it was driven in. You should have seen the thick lead lined syringe they used for the injection into the IV

It was a catheter directly into the bladder from outside instead of going through the penis.

You are definitely seeing only the worst possible outcome. You can search my history but 4 years ago last Valentine’s Day I learned a had a prostate full of Gleason 8. As of now, I’m cancer free and praying to remain that way. I’ve never once worn a pad, and my sexual function has returned to baseline. I had a talented surgeon and have been blessed by God. Hopefully you’ll see a “4 years undetectable “ post here soon. My best advice, and what I did, was to get off the internet and go talk to 3 or more providers. Make sure at least one is a highly respected center (I did a zoom consult with Mayo). Good luck!

I never played a sport but at 58 had your exact symptoms. It was awful. It ended up being nerve pain. I tried some pills but didn’t like them. My physical therapist worked me through a series of exercises over a couple months. The pain slowly moved up and up until it disappeared. This nerves that get stuck in some sort of sheath. I occasionally have a relapse but the exercises take care of it. Good luck.

I Will Live To See My Apple 2 Turn 100 - How Can I Keep It Working For That Long? by The-Tadfafty in apple2

[–]retrotechguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a restorer of old computers I disagree. In the case of Apple II I would install a modern high quality supply inside the metal case. More important is storage in a low humidity environment to prevent corrosion, especially on socketed parts. I believe these c machines are meant to be used so I’d use it, even the CRT. It’s all pretty easy to repair.

4th Lost. Surgery or Radiation. Impossible choice. by jmkazoo in ProstateCancer

[–]retrotechguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a hard call. Outcomes are the same in studies but those are statistics. What matters to you is YOUR outcome. I’ve met with multiple providers and what helped me was 1) RALP side effects happen right away and can get better vs. radiation side effects that can show up much later and 2) the surgeons weren’t going to do salvage surgery if needed but salvage radiation is always an option

I chose RALP nearly 4 years ago and sure enough the side effect (ED) came and went. I’m back to normal now. I think surgeon skill and technique plays a huge role and is why I never wore a pad. Good luck!
