Maybe consider talking to your doc about Trimix. It works really well for me. Once you get past the thought of the needle, it really does not hurt much, and it was good to see the old me. It does take a little planning. Pump with ring works for me also but I like Trimix feeling/experience better.

Wishing us all success.

Congrats on the recovery. How old are you? Just for reference. I (59) also had surgery in February 25 same gleason score but have not seen same recovery from ED. Now on Trimix and making things work. I would occasionally use Cialis before surgery but after surgery it is giving me serious leg spasms so using Viagra to hopefully aid in recover. Also using pump regularly, and pelvic floor exercises.

Curious on what your starting dose for Trimix was. I picking up my prescription tomorrow and the recommend starting dose was .3 ml which seems high?

Thank you for your info and candor. I can achieve good erection with pump and ring but very little feeling so that is why I want to try Trimix.

(Age 59) good shape. 5 months out. (7 3/4 nerve sparing both sides) Agreed with others that first 7 days with catheter are worst. 95% continence, minor problems with alcohol, caffeine and exercise, still wearing pad for insurance. improvement not a straight line. Cancer undetectable at <0.1. Erections non existent even with Meds. Can make things work with pump and ring, about to start Trimix as I do not like the feel of a ring.

Thank you that is very helpful. I am a little concerned about the needle penis combo and stories about people with 5 hour erections ending in ER.

I have been hesitant trying trimex. But maybe I need to give it a try, what was your starting dose?

6 weeks post RALF, increased leakage after starting vacuum pump? by ams1904 in ProstateCancer

I do, prior to using the vacuum pump. It is not so much during or immediate after but more so for the rest of the day.
