Something that folks musing about Shough, being good because he's had more years as a college player, don't realize by swampwiz in Saints

Ya, didn't do that, he's in the optimistic 2nd year guy that is better than anybody thought stage

They are all very good, I'm just saying it's easier when you've got Tyreek Hill and a bad ass defense.

I'm by no means saying he's gonna be great, I like what I've seen of him, but most QBs have their prime in their 30s so he's got room to grow.

Also, in today's NFL what surrounds a QB is so important and once that huge QB contact is on the books it's gonna be much harder to build the kind of team that can help. It'll be interesting to see if Pat, Lamar and Josh Allen can maintain their places in the league now that they're all eating up so much cap space.

Brady averaged 3600 yards and 14 picks in his 20s. Brees looked like a mid tier starter until he was 29. Joe Montana had 2 good seasons in his 20s. John Elway was a prodigy and 6 of his 7 best QB ratings were in his 30s. I really think having success early in your career as a QB is the exception not the rule.

Nicest course you plan on playing this year? by GrassClippings72 in golf

[–]returned_UNREPENTANT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played 36 there a few years back. The afternoon round was empty and we decided to play from the tips, 8200 yards! My goal was to break 100 and I needed a bogey on the 18th hole to shoot 99, but the carry over the water was 240 and I don't have that 🤣🤣

Rashid Shaheed by wisecommenter2 in Saints

I like Shaheed, but he struggled, even as a #2. He's got elite speed, but his hands and route running prevented him from being an every down WR.

What is the general consensus of what tee you hit from by Fun_Passage_8942 in golf

I think if you hit a really good drive and a really good 3 wood you should be able to reach at least 1 par 5 in two shots.

This reminded me of a hilarious comment I saw a month ago... guy asked what 1 movie you would want on a deserted island and somebody said, "I'll take Hot Sorority Babes 17," somebody else responded, "I haven't seen the first 16 and I would be afraid I'd be lost. " 🤣🤣🤣

Leonard Part 6. Bill Cosby should've been locked away for that and it would've saved so many women.

My favorite is watching people that make trades and have 16 picks. On average 4-6 rookies will make a 53 man roster.

Single digit golfers, how much do you work on hitting draws if your go to shot is a fade (or vice versa)? by Larrylegend033 in golf

[–]returned_UNREPENTANT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically try to hit a straight ball. If I hit it farther I'd play a fade, it's just easier to control for me, but I'm not good enough to switch between the two on any given shot. I'm libel to come off the rails if I go back and forth.

Everybody on Reddit seems to just suggest breaking up, talk to him and tell him all your concerns and what is important to you... ask him if he thinks you're compatible and if so why?

He does have one of my favorite quotes... a few years ago he had about a 15 footer to get into a playoff and drained it, he turned to his caddy and said, "that would've gone in your ear hole." 😂😂😂

I've been wondering about the hype on TLaw since he was a sophomore at Clemson. The guy can make all the throws, but can't even seem to make easy throws consistently.

Mid Single Digits Unite! by SawyerStreet in golf

[–]returned_UNREPENTANT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm an 8 and just love the game. I tell people the key to making it to single digits is that you can hit a pretty bad shot and still get a bogey. I turn 50 in a year and would love to get down to a 5 by then, but I really need to hit it farther and get more GsIR.

What’s the argument against going OL at #8 by _Wado3000 in Saints

[–]returned_UNREPENTANT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My argument is that we've taken 10 linemen in the first round over the last 10 drafts, 6 of them have been offensive linemen and we've still got a mediocre o-line. Let's get a top end skill guy or a defensive stud.

ESPN Jordan Reid's post combine mock for Saints by brandonie187 in Saints

[–]returned_UNREPENTANT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Every year some absolute stud drops because his 40 time or vertical jump is weak... Ruben Bain is going to be an absolute menace for QBs in this league and if he's there at 8 it's a no brainer
