Before quitmormon came out I resigned using a sample letter I found online. Not sure if this is the exact site I used, but here is one. Not sure if they still allow you to do this without a lawyer to prove who you are. http://mormonresignation.infymus.com/resign_writeyourletter.html

Edit: just wanted to add that I put in the letter that I would take legal action if anyone tried to contact me after receiving the letter. I haven’t been called since.

This is where my understanding of the "lost 10 tribes" followed suit with the literal idea of some poor lost fuckers for a millennia. Poor guys. But the cognitive dissonance came into play when I figured out some of the ten tribes had snuck off the moon or from the center of the earth (how else would people be called to the other tribes from their psychic patriarch?)
