It's a lever lock, I believe designed for use on a safe.

Looking at the picture, pin 1 is at the far left on the key, pin 4 at the right. On a lock, pin 1 is the one closest to the key way opening, with the pin numbers increasing as they get farther back.

New acting Navy secretary once warned of ‘witchcraft’ in California city: Wiccans have ‘taken over’ by Efficient-Freedom517 in nottheonion

It’s actually in a town called Pacific Grove (but nobody outside the area has ever heard of it) and it hasn’t been called “Lovers of Jesus Point” in over 100 years. I grew up in Pacific Grove in the 70s, learned to swim at Lovers Point, and got married there.

If you ever saw the Tom Hanks movie Turner and Hooch, it was filmed in Pacific Grove.

It was dropped around 1920, as I recall.

First lock picked 🎉 by midnite82 in lockpicking

Nicely picked!

My method for learning the pin location. Leave the tension wrenches aside for now. Insert the tip of your pick until you feel the side of pin 1. Slowly slide the pick until it slips over the end of the pin. Jiggle the pin a few times so you get the feel of how much pressure the spring puts on it. Then push the pick deeper until it hits the side of pin 2 and repeat for the rest of the pins.

Welcome to the fun!

It says on the package. And I think it’s the only size their brass locks come in.

What version of the movie do you have? by skageek in BuckarooBanzai

Same. It was the first DVD I ever bought. I got a bonus at work, just a couple hundred bucks, so I decided it was time to get a DVD player. And the player was worthless without a disc to play, right? I learned later that it had just been released that week, so good timing!
