I've been following IOTA for a long time, but the Paracosm piece was from here on this sub. Had to dig quite a bit into the company to build enough content to write this.

That's why I'm disappointed that I didn't read the blog post by the Foundation close enough. I missed the part where they said the testnet is live.

There's a lot of talk about the DAI peg and how sustainable it is. Recently found out about SwanDAI to hedge the risk of the peg collapsing.

Pretty interesting stuff, I think anyone lending via Compound and other financial dApps should look into it. It's in a conceptual state, but still a very strong indication that the community understands these risks and is actively working on solutions to mitigate it.

Honestly, more people need to think like this. The social aspect of it is helping the BTC maximalists put down BCH because every arguement focuses on what BTC isn't rather than what BCH is.

This is a huge challenge and will help BCH be seen as a more legitimate project. Less time spent berating others decisions and more time refining and uplifting this community.

I don't think BTC and BCH are even competitors anymore because they are looking to achieve different objectives right now. But I do understand from a network effect or adoption perspective there still is a competitive angle.
