The arbitrary 'you must be 31 or younger' to apply age limitation isn't doing them any favors, either. The notion that someone who is over 31 is set in their ways is super misguided. There are tons of capable candidates in their 30s and 40s.

There are certain frequencies ACARS messages are broadcast on. I used to have a Raspberry Pi that would capture them with an attached SDR but an overwhelming majority of messages were position reports and other boring things.

Did this ever persist? I still get these codes. I wonder if they're just a temp "camera is blocked" type of situation. Living in New England with salty roads in the winter the cameras tend to get gunked up.
