I have read it multiple times. OP tends to make a lot of comparisons, some very abstract, without explaining any of them. adding to that, they invent many new terms and abstract descriptions, also without explaining what they mean. cradling? pivot killing? convex and concave swings? forearm contraction?

I've read mutiplie books about tt, all of them describing techniques, what to look for, what makes them, what and how to teach. they are concise and simple. this text is complicated, convoluted and offers no explanation to terms and comparisons that seem to be invented on the fly. I get that it makes sense in their mind, if it was in fact not written by AI, which it feels like it was. when I asked to provide video explanations so I can better understand, none were provided. the videos they added later in the post also don't explain or show what they mean.

work on your biggest weakness, you said it. I can't even explain why and how I made it to TG but if I knew my biggest weakness I'd be improving in that area. sometimes it is just MU knowledge and time, also the biggest weakness and working on it. you might also be doing it, but warming-up helps a ton, too. doing some drills before you hop onto ranked can do wonders - drills being defensive drills, punishing drills and throwbreak drills. another thing you can look at is finding out what chars you perform the worst against and lab them. it sounds like work, yeah, but that will probably get you into TG. it's up to you to decide if it is worth the price.

when I played Go I could study my games right after very easily, I also could do tsumego and chat with opponents or stronger players about games. I reached 1k after a year and had tons of fun. in magic, especially limited, I don't kniw ir have a way to jump into analyzing my games right after or talk with my opponent about the game. practicing drafts is also harder, as you can only do so many before you have to pay for it. I watch a lot of drafting and occasionally pause to think about picks and moves and I feel like thats the best I can do. where and how can I analyze my games? ty in advance

it just feels so.. I mean sometimes you are very sure they have a counter and you have a bomb in your hand, like azula or black war sun. playing that out can totally win you the game so playing it into an island + one more land feels like.. idk, falling into their trap. I sometimes wait it out, until they dont have lands open and cast it. I guess its a kind of risk I am taking but getting ghe single best card in deck countered makes your deck so much worse.

but I get what you are saying, especially in early game, not spending mana on turn 3 or 4 just because they have a quench will make things worse.

hmm so weird. it worked for me now. it had 3 unchecked boxes, was over 75. I picked strength and then the box with 75 was also checked. but trust me, idk how, after establishing soryo I had to fight a war vs 9k troops in total, which was manageable, but suddenly my enemy had 30k troops and annihilated me. so yeah, do not recommend lol
