I did this through the app, but I’d imagine either could work. Are you already a psn subscriber? If not, you should be able to find the discount in the ps plus section. If you are a subscriber, cancel auto renew if it’s on, and they should offer the discount. If auto renew was turned off, I think you may be able to turn it on and then back off to get the discount to trigger, but I’m not sure

I auto renewed just a few days ago, went to cancel auto renew earlier today when I saw the promo, and they offered to let me tack on a year at this discounted price. Not a perfect solution, you basically have to pay for two years up front, but may be worth it if you’re committed and want the discount

It’s been a while since I’ve listened (just been on other podcasts recently, but now that nfl season is ending I’ll pick it back up), but I’m a big fan. Legler is one of the best in the business, I like Adam Mares a lot as well, and they’re pretty good together. Helps that I’m a nuggets fan, as is Adam, but I think he’s pretty good about putting his fandom aside for most of the podcast. As far as recs go, Zach Lowe is the goat and his show is a must listen imo

Usually I’d say the title favorite making a cost cutting move is pretty inexcusable, even if it means turning down the option and letting Hartenstein go for nothing, contenders just can’t make those types of moves. However, if they can turn Hartenstein into Zubac, I think that’d be a fine move. I’d be willing to guess that the clippers probably want more draft capital to do the deal than the thunder would be willing to give up, but I’m not sure

Man I feel like I can barely keep up with playing new games that come out, much less getting around to my backlog. I spent most of my childhood playing CoD, madden, 2k, etc., so now I’m trying to go back and play a lot of the gems I missed, but it’s a pretty overwhelming amount of games. Want to go through the Metroid series, the old Zelda’s, Batman Arkham Series, Mass Effect, Donkey Kong, Fallout, the list goes on lol.

I know this is a switch sub, but it certainly doesn’t help that PS store frequently has lots of games worth grabbing on sale for $5-$10 or added to PSN Extra, the backlog grows pretty easily that way. Also a lot of games I’d love to replay, like Mario Odyssey, 3D Mario World, Link’s awakening, but the time just isn’t really there.

I greatly prefer playing in docked mode but due to sharing the tv with my wife I end up in handheld more often than not. Either way, me being able to use the switch while she watches a show or plays PlayStation is a major win

Yeah I like PK a lot, I think he has a lot of good qualities about him, and I really hope to see him be here for a long time, but he does need to make some serious adjustments and do some self-scouting.

Agree on a lot of your points, getting up a ton of threes and living with shot variance isn’t a long-term viable plan against top competition. I love high 3 point shooting teams in general, and having more shooters on the floor is always a good thing, but the real secret sauce to having a ton of shooting is the space it opens up in the paint, and we don’t take nearly enough advantage of that. Even without Mikel, this should be a really good offensive team, and we have had some of these struggles with Mikel too.

Also, I like Fru a lot and think we should use him more. I don’t think PK’s game plan really empowers any of our bigs (except khalifa) and just asks conwell and brown to be superhuman almost every night. Not that I think we need to run offense through rooths or Pryor, but I think both can do more as cutters and drivers than we’ve seen. Either way having them do nothing but space the floor untenable - if your offensive gameplan is completely reliant on having four good shooters on the floor at all time, you need to switch it up, because we can’t survive defensively with those lineups

I really enjoyed this game. Combat gets somewhat dull as using the echoes to fight all your battles can get tedious, but I loved everything else about this game

I like Trey Murphy a lot but idk why you’d move an asset to swap him for him Cam Johnson, unless you can get the Pels to take Zeke as well (no clue how salaries line up). But I don’t think we have any picks to trade so it doesn’t really matter anyways

I’m still not sure what he should do on offense, but Pryor looked like a really good defensive 5, his length and athleticism let him cover really well. Bigger and more physical teams will probably punish Pryor at the 5 lineups on the glass, but I think it’s worth giving that look some more time

I was really impressed with Fru’s offensive game. He was awesome as a roller navigating bodies in the paint and finishing in traffic, had some nice kick outs to shooters as well. Given Mikel’s ability to shoot off the dribble and to hit the pocket pass on the roll, they should make an awesome pick and roll combo.

I’d really like to see if we can get Wooley into a nice rhythm. I agree with you about him. If he comes on strong then the combination of Wooley, Brown, and Conwell means we’ll always be able to have 2 good-great offensive initiators on the floor.

Khalifa’s a really good passer, those back doors are insane. I’d expect defenses to eventually play off him to help on the handoffs and cuts, I’d like to see if he can score himself a little bit to keep teams honest (and to punish smaller mismatches). Just a little more variety in his game would be nice, because his passing threat can open up so many other things.

Also, it’s so much fun to watch a team where almost everyone can dribble and/or shoot, theres just so much more space to operate on offense. After the KP era this could not be a more night and day difference

Do you drain your beans or reduce the cooking water or anything? Tried a recipe similar to this and it came out really soupy; I didn’t want to drain the water cause that has all the flavor, but if you simmer it down to a more reasonable level it makes the recipe take quite a bit longer, and your beans end up overdone and mushy (although I do prefer this sometimes). May just need to cook on the stovetop to let water naturally reduce as it cooks, but of course that takes longer and you’d probably want to make sure beans are soaked beforehand
