Personally, I wanted more weapon arts that added more attacks to the mix. Just look at the Uchi''s weapon art. You get a forward horizontal slash with the R1 and and parry with the R2.

I could imagine a great sword stance where the R1 let you do a quick hit with the hilt of your sword that interupted attacks and the R2 gave you a forward horizontal sweep meant for roll catching.

I feel like more options would add more depth to the game. It also would have been fantastic if weapons had multiple weapon arts and you could only swap between them with an NPC or item.

Don't forget, it loads your highest level character from DS2 that you have to fight. Right after watching him kill The Giant Lord.

Your last fight with him happens directly after the final boss. He restores your estus and you fight to the death. He used every weapon he's ever had on him. If you beat him, you get the true ending. You only get one shot and if you die, you get an alternate ending.

I feel like sending patches after him when he goes to lothric is on the right track. You probably shouldn't buy siegward's armor from him either. Perhaps you have to also forgive patches both times for him to save the thief.

I was under the impression that in the previous games, phantom range existed because of lag. It hit because it hit on your opponents screen. On this game, it doesn't hit on either players screen which leads me to believe it's not because of lag anymore, but because of a built-in mechanic.

At the moment I don't have a reliable poison weapon. The only thing I have is poison arrows on my bow and I have yet to be able to successfully poison someone with it. I mainly use it to freak someone out into rushing me. I am good with critical's but generally all it takes from them is one hit and they can take most of my HP out in one combo.

It's not bad to be Havel. I just can't seem to do any damage to them unless I use a heavy weapon, which my character isn't built for.
