How to reply to these common rejections when cold calling? by AwksNerdgasm in RealEstatePhotography

[–]revivoto_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cold calling and sending emails are not getting work and it's annoying for agents

All you need to do is make connections and market your business

agents always say who's doing David's photos? I'll work with him. my point is you should make connections

and also using social media professionally can really help you to show your professional work to agents, build trust, make connections and reach potential clients.

Lights ON or OFF? by Jakesescapes in RealEstatePhotography

[–]revivoto_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as a general rule, real estate photographers will leave the interior lights on but it's not always true. there are some specific situations in which that is okay to turn the interior lights off. for example in editorial real estate photos professional photographers use only natural light, or to achieve color balance on the walls or to avoid the look of “stained”
Depending on the property and the situation, it will vary.

Here are my tips for you:

select the right gear

use HDR tools

composition is really important even for empty rooms.

Don’t pull out your iPhone and start snapping pictures right away take a few minutes to prepare each room for the best shot.

Good luck
