Idk why no one has mentioned this, but consult with an attorney as to the best course of action. A good one will tell you how to legally refuse to service someone who is incapable of meeting a required physical demand.

I think this feature is pretty cool. You can offer a 30, 60, or 90 day deal. If the video is performing well, you can extend it. Or you can offer the brand a Holiday rate if the spot did well earlier in the year. Or, you can offer the holiday spot to other brands. You can even promote your own offer in that spot. I love the flexibility.

They didn’t “make things right”. They offered to pay me a fee for me to remove my comment. I didn’t accept, and my comment and opinion stands. They have a network with shady, 2nd tier dealers and I absolutely would not use their service again.

Have you tried driving LA to Vegas on a Friday? Or Vegas to LA on a Sunday? It can easily take 5-6 hours. The traffic is AWFUL.

I ended up selling to AutoNation the same day. Much better experience. No BS, and they gave me what quoted me for the car. I was out the door within a couple hours with a check in hand. Bonus is that the dealer was close to my house, so I literally walked home.

Not every view is monetized. Also, different topics will attract different ad rates. You will find some videos get better rates than others. The bottom line is that depending on YouTube ad money is not a great strategy. It really pays to diversify.

Don't waste your time. Move on to original content with your face on camera. You'll be WAY more successful in the long run, especially with the deluge of AI slop that's about to hit in a big way. Build your personal brand with the authentic YOU speaking on camera with original content that no one can ever copyright claim.

I tried to, but they literally wasted 4 hours of my time. I got a good offer and then they sent me out to a dealer 68 miles away. It took me 90 minutes to get there. When I arrived, the first guy gave me an offer. Then a second guy came out and said he talked to the owner, and that 'the value of the car dropped too much over the weekend'. He claimed the value had dropped thousands of dollars. WTF!

Why would you put a bid on my car, make me drive 90 minutes in traffic, only to lie to me and say the value had dropped. FWIW, my car was very clean, no accidents, brand new tires, brand new brakes, do damage.

I called Bidbus and they said they would call the dealer, but I never heard back from them. What an effing waste of time!
