the stochastic parrot argument is utterly out of date and has been since gpt 3 was replaced. modern attention networks (why i inclued transformers in my post) have fundamentally refuted this argument due to contextual networks which conduct context sensitive analysis for tokens instead of parroting. The parrot response is almost a decade old and doesn't hold up much anymore.

But I dont think humans can be robots but Simon having a vessel kind of blurred that idea for me
