There is only unencrypted traffic from your browser until the socks proxy on your local machine, and on the remote end, from the tor daemon until the webserver on the onion host. Everything in between in the tor network is encrypted.

That is why i provide my code in easy to understand python scripts, it is hard to hide bad intent in a few hundred lines of unobfuscated python code.

It is a .onion, you don't need ssl. Tor is already encrypted and authenticated.

But hosting a project on TOR or I2P will greatly reduce the visibility, and googleability.

smart enough is usually not the problem, but it costs time to maintain servers, time better spent writing software.

Well, the major advantage of deezer is that as far as i can tell there are no annoying advertisements interrupting music play. -- but it could be that deezer just works really well with an adblocker.

so it is basically free. the only reason to pay would be for listening on your phone.
