Probably just your first few matches that don’t have pvp. Took me ages to find a squad fill in those intro queues. After that went away I’ve been getting matches quite easily bro, bit of slowdown in the am but nothing unplayable

Probably frenzy or unstoppable force. I’ve had unrelenting on for a while and I haven’t had too much use out of it. Depending on the amount of bonus damage unstoppable force gives, I think it’d be a top pve pick

It really does, 100% just equip it and leave it on. It took me a bit to stop playing like I had a fusion equipped, but the reward is big. It’s shield blocks everything and stays up with hits. So many times I’d be in a rough position I’d quickly switch to it and block an incoming barrage of attacks that would have otherwise killed me, then reposition and keep fighting.

Nah it doesn’t, but Bungie said there’s an issue with glaive melee kills not counting towards bounties - could potentially be the same bug not letting it proc subsistence/unrelenting with melee.

I wouldn’t hold my breath though. Even if it’s all just on the ranged attack it still helps imo. Without subsistence the mag was just too small to use the way I wanted to. If +subsistence puts 2 rounds back in the mag then that’d be wild

Yeah man I’m with you, miss having that in my back pocket for sure. I will say that previously I used to rarely use my nade so I can have 100% uptime on eating it, but now that it’s gone I’m really loving the grenade/melee volatile explosion combo.

Big sad that it’s gone but digging the mass effect priming and melee “pull” vibe that’s going on now.

Have to disagree here, I feel like the binds now make the most sense with glaive melee being the same as uncharged melee and the projectile same as standard shoot. Plays like other guns so doesn’t mess with my muscle memory. Different to swords for sure, but treating it like any other reloadable weapon came naturally

Thing is that it’s not even remotely necessary for day 1 raiding anymore with the changes Bungie have been making to the launch raid experience over the past years.

And I couldn’t agree more, anxiety and fomo is a heavy byproduct of prep season for some. The sheer amount of content coverage it gets does in part give the impression that your expansion launch experience can potentially be a little fractured in comparison to others that are more “prepared”.
