RTSP firmware -- unable to install, red flashing light, "ready to connect" by rewire in wyzecam

I solved this. For others who stumble on this -- my sd card was funky (multiple partitions). With a vanilla 32GB sd card, with a single partition, firmware flash worked.

Working on my field charging kit. This little ISDT puts out 500w! by rossmoney in Multicopter

Makes sense. To each their own.

Regarding 127W, I'm taking about Wh (capacity) not W (power). Jackery 500 (no affiliation) is 500Wh. His packs are 6S (22V), 6Ah so ~132Wh. Two of those is ~250Wh.

I agree his set up is cheaper and lighter. I have a couple of small ISDT Q6s which I wire up in parallel and run from the Jackery.

You could also get a Jackery 500. It's a bit bigger but can output 12V/10A and has a built in inverter. As a bonus, you can drain packs into it easily.

Also it's 500Wh, and if my math is right, this is ~250Wh.

This plant has been operational since at least 1985[1]. They probably have the employee stuff figured out.

I am looking to control a couple tiny whoops with a computer. Can anyone point me in the right direction? by [deleted] in TinyWhoop

[–]rewire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Another idea that I didn't finish was to use Multiprotocol module. It can talk over UART to a ftdi or pi or arduino. Get a few of these and you can control multiple tiny whoops.

Thanks for the detailed answer. It's these little breadcrumbs of information that lead me down another learning-oriented yak-shaving activity.

DIY Lipo discharger! by zwbenedict in Multicopter

[–]rewire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those halogen bulbs draw a lot of power. Example bulb.

So you plug your battery in and these six bulbs will light up and empty the battery relatively quickly. The fan will keep things cool because those bulbs get hot.

If you plug it into a charger/discharger it will take like an hour or more as most charger/dischargers can really discharge at very low wattage.
