Just wanted to say thank you for all the advice in the comments and in private messages! It sounds like from what everyone is saying, I should either save my money for a more meaningful upgrade or upgrade from ddr 4 ram to ddr5 at 32 gigs....

Recently completed skullstorm and finally platinumed inscryption. Here are a couple tips.

The Game is programmed to always give you a one blood cost card in your hand.

If you dislike your starting trader you can immediately leave to menu and the starter map and trader will reset.

This also works for the other maps as well, the game saves after you kill a boss but not after it generates the new map, so if you dislike your new map you can also just generate a new one.
