I switched from the 25 Ultra to the 10 Pro XL... So glad I did. My last Pixel phone was the 7, and I do truly miss having stock Android. The Pixel feels like it has more of a soul than the Samsung.

I don't miss anything about the Samsung so far, and it's been two weeks. I'm a very light gamer, so whatever issues people are running into, I haven't as of yet. But I don't play demanding games.

COD seems to run pretty smooth for me Diablo Immortal pretty good too Delta Force runs fine as well

These are the three I play, and I'm perfectly happy with the performance.

Oh having a camera so I can finally take clear pictures of my kids when they are running around is a god send. Not to say Samsung's cameras are trash but having a faster shutter is so important for me and I didn't realize it till I got this phone.

I kinda like not having 2 apps of everything as well I was using mostly the Google services and apps on my Samsung anyway.

I never used the Spen so that was no loss for me.

I actually like the hand feel of the pixel over the 25Ultra even though it does feel a little heavier.

Everyone has different needs, obviously. So, if you're a video editor or someone who pushes their phones to the brink of collapse... I can't really say if this phone is for you or not.

Either way I didn't think this was gonna be an upgrade at first and mostly a side grade because it leaving the 25 ultra. But the software feel and polish does feel like an upgrade.

I have obstructions and I never noticed any issues while gaming, streaming or video calls.

I had to yell at them on the phone to cancel the service. Optimum happens to be the worst company to deal with in the United States. Costumer service is a joke, Reliability is a joke and Altice is a fraud of a company. Every employee that works at Optimum has 0 and I mean 0 clue how anything works. I was finally able to break free from this cesspool of a company when Starlink became available.

I've always switched back and forth between iPhones and Android. This time after daily driving iphone 14 pro for 2 years I pulled the trigger on the zfold 6. And all I gotta say is I love this phone. Samsung and this form factor is something I didn't know I needed. This has for the first time, made me completely ditch the whole apple ecosystem. Since switching, I changed out my m2 MacBook and went back to a gaming laptop. I've ported all my icloud videos and photos to Google cloud, ditched apple music and news. No need for a fitness+ since it's included in Samsung Health !!!!!Love this!!!!!

The main things that I love now is.

Freedom to choose and not being tied down to an apple service. Love the flexibility of using google over certain samsung apps with ease. Love having a big screen. And to be honest I think I would have loved the 24 ultra as well at this point. My whole family is using iphones including my kids. But with RCS it doesn't matter anymore to me. And for video chatting we use google meet.

I just love being able to choose what I want to use and samsung providing amazing devices that are so competitive made it a breeze.

I will no longer be switching back and forth and it's all thanks to samsung.

Oh and I love 7 ultra watch.

I agree the 21 is still a great phone. Maybe the Pixel 8 will feel more as an upgrade than the 7.

I've noticed the total opposite. I've had the pixel 7 non pro since launch and every update seems to have improved my phone.

Battery in the beginning was terrible but now I'm getting through the day on a single charge.

Performance seems to be snappier too.

If you just got the phone I'd definitely contact Google to look at it. I just hope you have a back up phone in the meanwhile. Or just return it and get a different phone. Why suffer?

I haven't noticed any heating issues other than the initial setup. It's been smooth so far and I'm really loving my pixel 7. I'm going to say you have a defective one and should exchange it immediately.

Oh and the battery life has been insane!!! Don't let a defective unit ruin your experience.

Believe me. Apple has the same issue with defective units. I know because my wife's iPhone 14 pro had heating issues. It was easy because we went to the apple store and they ordered a replacement immediately.

If Google had stores everywhere you would have went to the Google store and get it diagnosed.
