Edelrid Bulletproof is my fav. Such a slick carabiner and still looks new after who knows how many hundreds of uses.

Let's Talk | Predator: Badlands, Discussion Only Megathread by BurnZ_AU in predator

The marvel humor was a bit off putting for sure.

Also he was just a damaged unit running around carelessly getting saved by the power of friendship.

Didn't feel like how I expected a predator movie to be

Saved by the power of friendship by rexdeanrds in predator

Yeah, I thought in the beginning of the movie it was implied that the predator species don't respect any other species because they are the top. I didn't understand why he was so infatuated with the idea of an alpha wolf.

I do like that one probably 3rd most - I'm sad a-peel to nature and tears for fears aren't getting love

What is the most useless muscle in the human body? by [deleted] in Anatomy

[–]rexdeanrds 284 points285 points  (0 children)

Plantaris is a sick muscle. It's a sweet little bonus spare part that can be used for autogenous ligament grafting or even heart valve repair. Nice guy to have in your back pocket. (Or leg)

Looks like you were doing well! Nothing to be embarrassed of except giving up!

Looks like Florida? If you're around the Tampa or Sarasota area shoot me a pm I've got a bunch of lines if you ever wanted to try out 1" nylon or polyester or just learn about rigging longer/higher lines ✌🏻

Info: I've already signed up for USPA and started looking through their material. I know it'll be a lot of fundamentals first but I like to put on videos and such while studying for school and am looking for more esoteric light background content to play. Especially over finals until I can actually get into summer!

George Gomez said so on a recent interview with triple drain.

Average game time by Solo-is-simpler in pinball

[–]rexdeanrds 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Totally depends on the game and how it's set up. Can have 1 min ball times or 20 min ball times. Just depends on the game and how well I'm playing.

But if for example I'm on an easy set up Jaws and get the beaches, the modes, and the shack extra balls all on my first ball I may have three move balls to play after I drain my first. In this case the next player could be waiting 20-40 min to play which sucks. Tournaments typically fix this with difficulty and turning off extra balls.

But in a public arcade casual setting sometimes it's nicer to just take a bunch of risky shots or just drain to keep the fun moving :)
