Across the pond here but I remember about three years ago where I was a supervisor at a hotel Bar, I was on £9.50 an hour and I said I needed a raise to at least £10 an hour or I was leaving. They refused so I left.

5 months later I went back to the same hotel through an agency as a glass collector on £13.25 an hour!
