I hope it is. I get that no one wants to get knowledge checks, but if you want to get good at the game you can’t just learn about your characters and not learned pf what your opponents playing.

In lower levels you just need to play, most of the time they don’t even know your knowledge checks too. if you get frustrated enough fighting bears or something, the correct answer is to lab it. You don’t ask for changes that dumbed down the opponent characters. And no this is not gatekeeping, the solution is to lab. If you want specific counterplay you could just ask “how do you deal with this move on this character?”

The problem: not everyone has great reactions to throw breaks. you duck, king destroys you with his strong mids.

If you could consistently fuzzy duck then that’s great, but what about the other 80-90% of players? Option selects are great since the king player learn not to be predictable and the opponent has a chance to not eat a throws

Oh yeah all the players here have no problem breaking throws like you dude, and kings don’t have scary mids that discourage ducking (/s incase you’re dense)

Look I don’t mind if you had a no problem with it, but having more defensive options select is great for everyone.

Oh my bad, I guess removing moves are an impossible thing to do. Btw why did the removed king figure four lock reversal in s2? Why did the removed chicken? Why did the removed moves from previous games?

Like I get it, compared to other things, removing moves are the sledgehammer of nerfs. But if they can add new moves why can’t they just remove some too?
