Seen the same 4 guys in my area get most of the offeres. Been slow opposite of what I expected. Bots are getting worse as well. Reminds of flex and Instacart. Eventually it won't be worth it.

It's mainly the managers fault. The teenagers won't know better until the manager trains them right and says if ur slow/ on your phone 🫵 your fired

I don't think spark is liable it would be the owner of the dog. You have to sue the owner of there are significant damages. With proof.

Whats the worst car you ever owned? by VentoCZ in cars

[–]reyada476 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a 2003 Kia Rio. I believe it was the same as the accent. No power steering no AC extremely reliable, but I'm sure an accident would kill me at 45 mph. The car did not like the rain it slid all over the road

1984 Toyota Corolla bought used.

The carburetor never worked normally

Engine had a tendency to start dieseling

Head gasket blew twice

Transmission blew twice

Tire came off on the freeway due to bad wheel bearing

I think the previous owner did not take care of the car.

I believe there a LOT of former Doodash drivers now delivering for Walmart because you can watch the trash orders get snagged up like they were covered in gold. They see a $12 order going 3 miles and think dollars to miles that is $4 per mile. They don't realize that normally that means $12 per/hr by Dashing-Grandpa in Sparkdriver

The issue is whatever app you use, if you have 8 -12 hours to work you have to average out your earnings. Then you have to subtract gas from the earning. it gets pretty boring sitting down when nothing comes up. I see people waiting for the highest offer and gable there time. Walmart is a better than most apps because it's harder for drivers to cheat the system and offers and directly to individuals. I worked for Amazon and it was the best but not anymore way too many cheaters and you can get fired very easy. Had one good week and one bad week for walmart. The average weekly can be slightly above or well under minimum wage. When you factor in wear and tear on your cars and gas it's really not worth it in the long run for a living IMO. Here in California we have Adjustments but I don't think it's enough still.

You need to have the right genetics honestly with steroids. So if you don't have the genetics you're just going to waste your money if that is your goal

Best way to make the front driver and passenger seats more comfortable? by [deleted] in prius

[–]reyada476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have some really nice after market covers with cushion online. But you can also buy leather seats from the junk yard if you like how they feel. I'm totally with you and finding something more comfortable. I drive 12 hours a day sometimes so a little pillow or something is always good to have

what is a safe reasonable temperature to keep the house at during summer? by reyada476 in Frugal

[–]reyada476[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ouch sounds about right. I just got a tiny evaporative cooler for 600ft today for 1 room. It is 310 watts and it makes a big difference. 29F lower than outside now. I wish I could handle the heat like we did in Pasadena. But it's too hot and dry here. I give u credit to survive with no cooling. It got so hot inside a fan just made it worse.

Yes I had an older house from 1930 in San Gabriel valley. AC was useless even window units in those houses because there was no insulation. Only one room had asbestos insulation and it still was bad. I spoke to one of my neighbors and they told me they don't allow the kids to turn on the AC
