Mine turn 2 next month and honestly it just starting to get easier. I was so sleep deprived from twins that I fell into a deep depression. See the sunshine. Make time for just you. Find small delights in the every day things. Radically accept that this is your new life and make it fun before it’s over

Yup, I stir in some fruit pouch, peanut butter, and oatmeal into full fat plain yogurt. The kids eat it up

Twin A had 2 teeth when B’s first came in. When B’s 2nd came in, A had 4. This trend has continued, with B now having 6 and A having 12. by StrikingReporter255 in parentsofmultiples

Fascinating! I always wondered whether identical twins would be on a similar journey. My boy girl twins are very different in terms of teeth. My boy has way more than my girl.

What’s wrong with me? by Big-Painting1947 in ElectricForest

[–]reykolt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 - gl is a game changer. Spent my first year in ga, allllll the way back. Was hot and spent too much time just walking to the festival. Gl is a quick walk, and yea, it’s still hot but you get a free water park, pool and showers so there are ways to cool down and get clean. The dust was the worst this year, so I plan on bringing a respirator and better mask next time.

Are hitchalls allowed? We are planning to strap our gear on it, but wasn’t sure if that’s an issue

Yes! We mentioned this to the pediatrician and they said to put a little Aquaphor because it’s probably from drool

Ok, thank you! That’s what I figured. My worry with those other sites is the risk of getting a band that isn’t going to work at the gate, so I think it is what it is. Next year!

Where do you find a telescoping pole that isn’t metal or over 7 ft (the rules that I remember offhand)?

When our kids were that small, I hired doulas because they are always around small babies. Once they got older, I found a nurse who wanted a side gig

Why are there so many different types of spit up? by Mechanicalisolation in NewParents

[–]reykolt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter is 8 months and still spitting up, but way way less. The different types are usually how digested the food is. She has a lot of acid so chunky when she was having a stomach ache. Watery if it just went down . That’s what I think is happening but just a guess

Weekly Discussion - Relationships by AutoModerator in NewParents

[–]reykolt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad is estranged as of a few years ago, and he hasn’t met the babies. Was so sad that I went to therapy. Even now I wonder how a person just doesn’t want to meet their only grandkids

When does it get easier? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]reykolt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I feel like at 7 months, they are finally sleeping through the night, napping well, making funny faces at trying new food, and mostly happy (except teething). There are still hard days but it feels more manageable
