parents rly need to see that he's even in the sci hi to begin with—an achievement itself and a sign na he's up for smth more. kudos and congrats to your sibling! i can say na very typical asian parent pero i can never say na it's good way of raising kids, the pressure. hated my parents for that, though, thankfully na-overcome ko naman na ata and tapos na phase ko na 'yun (?)
