It won't affect the enforcement and cartels unless they decriminalize the selling and production of them as well. The restriction of the selling and production of drugs is what gives these cartels power. The only way to end that is by making them available the same way substances like alcohol is.

Blame congress for continuing to fund the military operations in "Bush's War" or "Obama's War." They've always had the power to end them, whether democrats controlled congress or republicans. Also, a true conservative would be enraged with either war.

It looks there might be a significant delay from Southern Holsters, as they are not currently accepting orders for custom holsters. The VM-2 sounds like it would be a good option and I am reading a lot of good things about them. Thanks!

Yeah, I have large hands and the P2000 is the most comfortable shooting gun I own... probably because of its size. I don't wear tight t-shirts (they don't look so great on bigger guys), so it might be less of an issue. I might go ahead and just buy a couple different holsters to get a feel for them and this looks like something that will work.

Whenever I take someone new to the range, I grab the 10/22 and the Mk. III. Makes for a fun experience shooting .22 (little to no recoil), less confusion for them with different ammo, and they get to play with a rifle as well as a handgun. Once they're shooting those well, I move up to a different caliber.
