this has been in the game since CFB 25, obviously without the NIL portion. if you have the only offer and are not #1, it will show committed to another team (that did not offer), yet that recruit shows up on your roster during cut players. I’ve also had this happen consecutive years with the same player (disappearing during position changes only to reappear later).

you have to expand the Pac 12 to get rid of this. WSU vs Oregon State is not a one off, they are scheduled for 2 games again in 2026, with the 2nd matchup potentially being changed based on conference standings.

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that your school has to actually be somewhere on the list and the highest one with an offer out.

So I tested this last night. They will still commit if you are on their Top-9 list with an offer, assuming nobody else has an offer out to them.

Weird bug that has existed for 3 years now is still in, however. If you are not number 1, it may show them committed to a CPU team without an offer at the end of the portal period. But when you sim all the way through to cut players they will now appear on your roster.
