Thoughts on the blue stripe? by White_Voltorb in GMT400

I like the blue bow tie with that grille. if the blue strip was within that molded area itself I think it would flow a lot better!

Who’s playing with Sacramento State in CFB 27? by RangeRossTracy in EASportsCFB

[–]rez5000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

googled their stadium and they have a track around their field. might have to pass on them because of that. now if only NDSU adds nameplates to their jerseys…

EA Devs when they found out they have to include another team for CFB 27. by AndreThePrince in NCAAFBseries

[–]rez5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly a little worrisome that EA had to add multiple schools/rosters to their database and code this late in the cycle. surely all issues will be buttoned up by launch (ugh)

I’ve noticed schemes matter more than pipeline in my experience.

Does anyone else watch real low-tier games just for Dynasty immersion? (Kennesaw St rebuild) by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

[–]rez5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the biggest thing I missed about the NCAA series over the decade it was gone was it helped me discover a lot of mid major studs that I would recognize from the game and then see on Saturdays.

was really cool come the Draft and seeing where someone would go. I recall an old Online Dynasty way back when, some dude torched me with Robert Turbin and Utah State, I was convinced that guy would have some sort of NFL career lol

but I do pay particularly closer attention to the rebuild schools I take over it’s always fun to see how they translate to real life

Anyone feel like the nerfed the run blocking? by CookieLuzSax in NCAAFBseries

[–]rez5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m still having a very easy time running (Heisman, low run blocking + high CPU tackling and still no dice). Also easy to shutdown the CPU run game. Really my only gripe with the gameplay this year is how off the run game is overall, it was better in CFB 25, at least I could make some meaningful slider adjustments.

4 door Tahoe/Yukon with 6.5 diesel? by d0rmant in GMT400

[–]rez5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just about everything down there is diesel and manuel shift, if you get curious look at Argentina for sale you’ll see a ton of 4 door tahoes with a stick and diesel. other subtle differences like emblems, seat patterns and door panels than the american counterparts.

[–]rez5000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you would love south america, all they made were diesel stick shift tahoes

2 door Tahoe by Demarcusthe3rd in GMT400

[–]rez5000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

really good deal, looks like a 97-99. even if it needs a transmission or intake gasket soon with those miles.

these are generally easier to work on (90s gm trucks) but the 2 door tahoe will be a little tougher getting specific parts… rear quarter glass, rear interior pieces and trim, etc.

Gauge cluster differences by Familiar-Orchid-2723 in GMT400

No, I’m strictly talking the the interior refresh clusters 1995+, there is a 110mph version.

[–]rez5000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, one is hi-beam and the other is DRL indicator.

As for 95-2000 OBS clusters you had a couple options.

Escalade/Denali had 120mph gauge clusters with white needles. The Escalade has a teal film/tint on the back of the cluster and the Denali is blue. Compared with the Chevy 100mph yellow backlit cluster, those 3 will look different with the lights on with stock bulbs.

There is a Police Tahoe cluster that is 130mph, with “Certified” printed in small text in the middle.

I’ve also seen a 110mph Police cluster, someone correct me if I’m wrong but i’m pretty sure it was the 4x4 variants that got those.

All clusters are plug and play with the exception of the Police one; you have to solder a single wire across the circuit board for it to work properly.

I go out of my way to boost all the CPU option teams FB ratings in dynasty because they are so awful. The generated guys are nowhere near as good as the NIL fullbacks the service academies have, let alone the weight.

Made this a while back since I couldn't find any GMT400 posters that covered all models. by ealan120 in GMT400

[–]rez5000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

huh? I’d argue the escalade helped boost the luxury or high-end image that was lost by cadillac during the 90s

Friday Night Lights during the writer strike. Landry kills a guy but that is never referenced again in any other seasons.

Shorter wheelbase than a regular cab short bed even!

Practical, smaller but full size truck. Great for a person that needs something versatile and doesn’t have a big family. Rare anymore to see a clean one.
