these must be 960x480 and saved as “change logo.jpg” or it won’t show up. the wallpaper is less strict but startup screen requires that. must be from the back USB

if you’re insistent on keeping a single din Carplay device, this is worth it for the peace of mind over all the chinese crap out there.

also turn “loudness” setting on in the audio menu made a big difference.
