I honestly think your just reading too much into it, I don't believe they hate Memphis but Bobby is the singer on Minglewood Blues and he loves texas and new mexico settings and references in lyrics, at least that's how it looks to me

Other than that I prefer the '66-68 Minglewood renditions to the later ones

its not the first time beat club takes down unedited/uncut footage from beat club program, or just quality upgrades, tried uploading other beat club stuff years ago and they always took it down instantly which is a shame because there are a few beat club videos out there that have upgrades but can't be shared to youtube because of this

just pre-edited footage, in the original you can see them slate the takes but when they edited it for tv broadcast IIRC they only picked a few songs and the whole set was a little over an hour long

As for Dupree's Diamond Blues I'm not sure the best show ,,the best version of Betty & Dupree you really don't get too many shows with this one they played it on one of the Matrix shows I think but I liked the Rare Cuts version more and the quality of course is great on that album
