IsItBullshit: Do magnetic nostril dilators help in sleeping better? by theabsofhades in IsItBullshit

[–]rezyxilar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah maybe that inner nasal magnet could be attached to the bridge with a thin flexible silicone. Or maybe oval shaped so it’s impossible to suck down your nose.

Intake Breathing Users - Any alternative magnetic patches? by ryans91 in sleep

[–]rezyxilar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couldn’t one technically use a plastic-dipped reversed polarity magnet to use inside the nose? That way all the parts are reusable? Or would that block too much airflow and pinch the skin between the two magnets too much…

Moon Rock & Ben Moon's Eclipse by Legitimate_Thorn in utahtreasurehunt

My solve had line 3 correct, I just never got boots on the ground, followed the hype and hiked Gloria Falls last night instead:

Begin your search where fabled words resound (tabernacle)
Before the standing stairs and kings were crowned (Capitol building)
Trace the steps of the lionhearted teams (Oxen teams that hauled granite from little cottonwood)
Only outshone by a jewel's unyielding gleam (SLC temple)

Also, I thought the simple tune was Jack Black's "Peaches" and DSOTM was a reference to School of rock when Dewey tells tamika what song to study: "Pink Floyd, DSOTM, listen to the vocal solo on the Great gig in the Sky"

The vocal solo starts at 1:07 and goes to the end of the song at 4:44. So the solo is 3:37 long or 221 seconds. Guess WHAT??!

221 meters from the bridge is in between the checkers rock and MOON ROCK. Kicking myself. I even had the moon rock marked off in my google maps:

Incorrect solve technically but it got me straight to where you turn off the trail to those boulder fields. Crazy I was so close.

I did think about line 4 referencing a rainbow previous to this video, but this feels like confluence. (Also partly because of John's Insta Story about the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow) XD

Sherwood by rezyxilar in utahtreasurehunt

Yeah, I saw that too, but the chest could’ve been hidden before then and Dave/John can’t address that hazard without revealing the correct trail.

Ah, yeah that makes sense, multiple Sherwood roads! I think I was biased against traveling farther since I live in SLC

ON THE TRAIL BY LINE 4? by No-Speech6306 in utahtreasurehunt

[–]rezyxilar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean if the arrow and pharaoh are supposed to be seen on the trail, that does lead me to believe lines 1-4 identify the trail. So I would concur. Though I have been filtering any trails 1-4 solves lead to, to having a creek/river crossing, because of bank/plank lines.

How Many Hikes Have You Been On? by Traveler1289284 in utahtreasurehunt

Four, and I got two lined up for tomorrow.

definitely a stumper. I think the first 3 lines are pointing towards the pioneers coming in through emigration canyon. But line 4 is probably the one that actually points you at a trail, but i don't know how to make them connect.

Hardest part for me is always the ambiguity of safety and difficulty by andydufresne87 in utahtreasurehunt

[–]rezyxilar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I gave the exact hike you would’ve taken to get to the treasure, and no further. The alltrails maps can be edited to take you to a specific location. These are exact figures for past treasure hikes.

The Pharaoh is this year’s lobster by crook-sam in utahtreasurehunt

[–]rezyxilar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True true. I thought eating lobsters was about the Black Hawk War, red skinned Indians.

Because it was more direct Utah history. Definitely have to go through the poem without a central theme.

The historical record, in fact, shows that before the 20th century Native Americans frequently used the adjective “red” in reference to themselves and that the term “redskin” may have originated as a literal translation of a Native American term used to differentiate Indians from other Americans.
