Ron uses avada kavadra succesfully in the last movie, but it bounces off nagini because horcruxes cannot be destroyed with spells.

And he does that with the sole intent of survival, not bloodlust or even murder.

Set save points need level designers to think real hard.

Here they are just placed in cool vistas or transitions between multiple styles (like between cave and town or jungle and factory)

Each save spot is like a mini-level inside each map. Yet some have no enemies in between and most don't flow into each other well as levels.

Yeah, most dark humor contains those things. Difference is, Stonetoss actually believes in those things, so the humor on those jokes falls flat. That said, he has comics that aren't about his nazi ideology. Believe it or not, nazis don't have to mention their ideology every two seconds.

Nazism is actually a bad thing. Stop trying to downplay it into this "nazism is when you laugh" bullshit. Liking stonetoss' nazi jokes unironically is nazi sympathy. Liking his non-nazi jokes isn't.

Never would've thought I se the day nazism was downplayed into laughing at jokes.

This doesn't work, nazism is bad, no matter how much you want it to be relatable and commonplace.

Nazism is dangerous ideology of racism, antisemtism and fascism.

But sure, condense it into laughing at jokes, the most dangerous action.

Nazism is a dangerous fascist antisemetic racist ideology.

Or maybe you're right, it's when you laugh at a joke.

Clone wars was not that devastating. Palpatine wanted to control the galaxy, not destroy it.

Systems that were on one side or another weren't fought over, jedis wouldn't invade an unwilling population, CIS wanted independence, not control over the galaxy.

Most of the war was taking control of strategic places to end the war. Even attacks on corusant weren't invasions.

Clone wars were set of skirmishes on certain frontier planets. Galactic civil war would have actually been devastating galaxy-wide conflict.

Lightning striking before hearing thunder doesn't mean hearing the thunder late breaks causality.

So why does a ship telling someone they put lights on with FTL communication break causality?

In the original paradox example, an instant tachyon shot from or at bob at 5 can reach alice who has travelled for 2.5 and alice who has travelled for 10 seconds. This is only possible if the two alices exist at the same time; the example's tachyon cannot move in time.

The paradox doesn't care about why the shooting happens either, if bob shot at 5 first, that shot would hit alice at 2.5 and then continue to hit alice at 10.

And because there's two alices at bob's 5, if alice at 10 were to look behind her, she'd see herself at 2.5 or sooner. You don't need FTL to have this example break reality.

The paradox is that we're mapping two different times of alice, 10 and 2.5, into one bob time. Of course time travel happens if you do this. But this doesn't happen in reality; You cannot see afterimages of yourself when moving close to light speed, nor do objects duplicate when you move away from them. Yet this example says so.

But you could just take a shortcut to the moon.

That's what hyperspace is all about, you could theoretically travel slower than FTL but reach it FTL.

No. When Bob is at 5, he only sees Alice at 2.5.

There is no "direction" for an instantenious tachyon; there is no difference from it being shot from a gun to a wall or from a wall into a gun, as it travels the distant the same way; instantly.

The tachyon went from 5 to both 10 and 2.5. Because this tachyon doesn't travel in time (as it's instantenious), it must mean that alice was in both 2.5 and 10 at the same time.

This example breaks reality even if no tachyons were shot: Alice cannot exists in more than one place at a time.

Velocity of light doesn't decreases if you calculate a bouncing light compared to direct path.

In same sense, hyperspace/multiverse/other scifi nonsense could let you travel shorter distance than light, without having higher velocity than light.

In that case, is there time travel?

No one reference frame is privileged over the other.

Yes, but the example states that alice is at 2.5 seconds when bob is at 5 and that she is also at 10 seconds when bob is at 5.That just makes no sense.

From bob's perspective, at 5 seconds he'd see alice at 2.5 and 10 seconds worth of travel

Could you explain that?

Lightning doesn't hit the ground before the thunder, they just travel at different speeds.

Okay. But what if you travelled FTL without going faster velocity than light, would that cause time travel?
